Showing Original Post only (View all)I'm a white guy and was wondering why some black folks give me dirty looks when I wear a "hoodie". [View all]
It keeps happening and I'm 99% sure it isn't in my head.
Am I being insensitive? Is it related to the Trayvon Martin case?
Am I violating a new social more? I've worn these my whole life. Who hasn't?
I have two. One is plain black and the other is gray and has an Everlast logo.
I seem to get more negative attention when wearing the black one.
Anybody have any thoughts?

I honestly don't know anyone who is black. I have NO friends. That's why I come here.

I live in FL. I live in shorts, polos and athletic shoes or flip-flop like sandals.

I'm 42 but I'm told, by the young people, that I am very "with it" and "groovy".
