It's been a month and I wanted to thank all of you for your kind words on the day of and day after his death. It meant a lot to me! Addition question: my teenage daughter has been lobbying for a new kitty and I am not sure the family is ready for one. How long does one wait after the death of a very beloved pet to get a new one? I know it's a dumb question, but just curious and could use a bit of advise...I have never had a pet like this one before and one that I grieved so hard for! Thanks again...Mike

I'm really sorry. If he is your only pet, I learned a lesson when my buddy died years ago.
