He is also running a grass roots campaign funded by small donations rather than superpacs. Sanders has always said from the beginning that the down ticket races a re crucial given the enormous number of House and Senate seats, Governorships and state legislative seats lost since 2012. He fully understands and expounds on the 'revolution' changing the tides down ballot. Hillary is swimming in money, Bernie is not. Money, honey. The root of all evil.
