if you're hungry, locked in the closet, no amount of prayer will cause God to shove a hot dog through the keyhole. You have to take action for God to bring you what you need.

so yes, pray, DO THE NEXT RIGHT THING IN FRONT OF YOU, and then leave the results to God.
