She had a very large personality and she has been a part of so many things I do...she taught me so much. I was a rebel-without-a-cause teenager, and we fought a lot, but once I hit, oh, 50 or so, things between us became easier. I visited a few months ago and spent a lot of time with her; at that point we were planning to move her close to me in Florida.

I forgot to mention that she was 91.
Her father died of lung cancer at 57, and she used to think she would go at the same time, for the same reason.
