2016 Postmortem
In reply to the discussion: Thank you, Bernie! [View all]Jefferson23
(30,099 posts)61. My two favorites as well, Sanders exceeded my expectations.
Bernie leveled the Kissinger blow and WS money very well.
I loved the,...do not insult the intelligence of the American people, they're not dumb.
The look on her face was amazing. It appeared she felt she would shut him up
using Obama as her airbag. Why she or her team thought that would
work tells me they don't understand what Americans are well aware of
regarding the influence of money. This campaign is not about Obama
and yet she sounded like a 4th grader with faux outrage, don't insult
my Obama...the South Carolina shout out was also obvious and cynical
as well.
Her weak response that she is not a one issue candidate is laughable
as anyone with half a brain knows our entire economy and our foreign
policies are directly related to the investment class...not a minor
issue and that corruption seeps into our society in numerous ways.
Excellent debate, and I remain hopeful for Bernie.

I bet there are a lot of google searches amongst U.S. youth voters tonight for Kissinger.

I noticed that too and, of course, she got the last word...as usual. The audience was stacked.

Bernie merely had a cold or a tired throat; otherwise looked great. Hillary looked ill.
