In reply to the discussion: Hillary Clinton will lose in the General Election [View all]underthematrix
(5,811 posts)You seem to think the world is an either/or proposition. From my perspective the world is complicated with many constantly moving pieces. Bernie has constructed this extremely simplistic view of change in which he is asking us to make him president of a system he claims is corrupt. And if he's saying he can make massive changes while running this corrupt system, he's either deluding his supporters or himself or both.
I want to mention one other thing that seems so obvious to me. Bernie supporters are constantly asking that Clinton release audio and/or video of her paid speeches to Goldman-Sachs and other Wall Streeters. The claim is HRC was paid at least $250,000 per speech and Bernie supporters want to know what was said. So if Goldman-Sachs purchased a speech from Clinton wouldn't they be the owners of the speech? And when you pay that amount of money, no one will ever hear what was said. "Speeches" by high powered types like Clinton are not so much speeches as they are networking opportunities. I think this is a good thing.
