2016 Postmortem
In reply to the discussion: Sickening: Bernie "willing to do some harm to Mrs. Clinton" to win California. [View all]Nonhlanhla
(2,074 posts)124. Everything is situational
I agree that Hillary should have stopped campaigning earlier in 2008, but she had far more reason to go on than Bernie does now. There was the issue of whether Florida's delegates would be seated or now, and she was far closer in delegates to Obama than Bernie is now.
And the situation was different. The country was suffering from major Bush fatigue, and the natural cycle was that a Democrat would be elected. Now we're coming off 8 years of Obama, and so the natural cycle would be to elect a Republican. So the risk of prolonging the primary is far higher this time around.

This OP wasn't about BERNIE being the victim though, was it? It was about HILLARY being the victim.

I find the claim that Bernie intends to harm Clinton much more offensive and sickening.

If you're truly worried about Trump, get off the Hillary bandwagon. She can't win.

Hiliary's inability to even manage a positive favorability isn't Bernie's fault.

+1. And how could it possibly hurt her, anyway, since she is The Supreme One? More whining...
