(9,288 posts)I believe in Bernie Sanders, and a part of that is trusting in his judgement. He endorsed Hillary, and as such I will now put my trust in her.
His running has helped pull this party more to the left where it belongs and I am grateful for that. I do not in the least bit regret supporting him. But, he lost. He acknowledged that and then after using his the successes he did have as leverage to get needed consessions out of the Democratic party, he endorsed the best candidate to defeat Trump.
The fact that she has also been endorsed by people like Russ Feingold, Elizabeth Warren, and John Lewis only makes that point clearer.
But most importantly to me, I can't let this opportunity for the democratic party to reclaim the Supreme court to pass us by. For far too long the republican's have owned that court, and now we have our chance to take it back. There is no way I would ever jeopardize the issues I care most about, civil rights and liberties, just because of small differences between me and her on a handful of issues.
I believe in Bernie, and now I will Trust in Clinton. It is as simple as that.
EDIT: as for the Green party, their words and positions might be more along the lines of what I believe, but I judge people by their actions more so than their words. Their actions have done nothing except to HURT the causes I believe in, so I reject Jill Stein and the green party completely.
