however the NSA debacle has more of an effect. The Republicans are happy. We even have Dick Cheeny coming out in support of the NSA eavesdropping. Of course it was GW Bush and Cheney who signed the surveillance in 2002.

People here in the USA are very influenced by the media. No one batted an eyelid in 2002.
