If Bernie Sanders Loses, What Happens to His Army of Young Voters?By Dante Chinni - WSJ

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders, of Vermont, speaks during a rally in Tucson, Ariz.

At 74 years old, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is the oldest major-party candidate in the 2016 field. But his rise in the polls this summer was powered by younger voters. Those voters arent likely to be a strong enough force to propel him to the nomination, but their support could give Mr. Sanders an important role in the election even after the primary is over.
In Iowa and New Hampshire, Mr. Sanderss greatest gains, by far, have come among voters under the age of 45, according to NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist polls in those states.
Mr. Sanderss appeal with younger voters is also apparent in the most recent Wall Street Journal/NBC News national survey. In that poll, the Vermont senators greatest strength lay with voters between the ages of 18 and 34. Some 45% of those voters viewed him positively, and only 18% viewed him negatively. The numbers for him grew less favorable among older age groups.
Younger voters can become enthusiastic campaign volunteers. Their comfort with the Internet and experience as digital natives means they can be organized online more easily than older voters.
But younger dont tend to make up large chunks of the primary vote. Even in 2008, when young voters were engaged by the presidential race, voters age 45 or older made up 60% of the Iowa Democratic caucus vote. In New Hampshire in 2008, 40-or-older voters made up 67% of the Democratic primary vote.
If younger voters are your base of support...

OP
I disagree. The majority of Sanders supporters will vote for whoever the Democratic nominee is.
