(80,708 posts)So leaving aside teams and grudges and long-time DU score-settlin' from people here who are still mad about 4 year old fights in the meta forum..... OR leaving aside the behavior of some sanders supporters in seattle (and I hear tell the hillary crowd cheered when the BLM protesters were escorted out, by the way)... The fact remains that one of these days primary season is going to be over (praise jeebus) and we are all going to need to come together to try to win next november.
Im not going to try to justify ANYONE'S behavior-- and yes, "both sides" have thrown some nasty poop- but maybe you should ask yourself if your friends and co-supporters of Hillary really seem to be working towards that eventual, and necessary- reconcilliation, or not?
And if not, what is it you think they're actually accomplishing?
Because like i said, she is probably going to be the one to win the primary. That is my realistic assesment.
Skinner had an excellent op the other day which said, in part, "not every member of your coalition is going to be your ideological soul-mate". Wise words.
