I wonder about that: I lived in New Orleans for much of my formative years, even though I was born (and live now) in NY. I shamelessly killed many a cockroach during that era. But the insects I live with now get a free ride; at worse I gather one or two up and put them outside (my beau is spider phobic, but is a nature lover too, so gives them a chance by letting me rescue them). Based on my luck, though, when I hit the afterlife (if it exists, which I don't believe in either), the entity sitting on the throne is going to be a damn cockroach, I just know it!
