17. While I won't say any American, I would say most Americans of legal age would be "vast improvement"

Most people haven't got a clue as to the resources that the President of the United States has to do this
job on a daily bases. A person of normal or almost normal intelligence that is open minded, not racist, and meets the qualifications would do better than Trump. Why? Trump is not "normal." Leave it to the psychologists and the historians to prove this, but this is true.
...Trump is not open minded. He thinks he knows it all and never apologizes if he makes a mistake. But more important, he rarely listens. Also, with a mistake, instead of saying something apologetic, he doubles down on the mistake even if it is obvious to everyone he is wrong.

Perfect example: Trump has doubled down on being critical of the four democratic congress women. Was that yesterday or today?. Is this "stupid" "relevant" or "normal"? Donald Trump is not some TV salesman, he is the President of the United States, and cannot even "shut up" when necessary. My guess is, (only a guess) that his staff has told him to lay off those people in congress. And lay off the, "Send them back to their country crap" He cannot shut up and leave something alone that is dangerous for his party and his position as leader of the U.S.A. But he doesn't care. Yes, it is all about him, even if he is totally wrong about something. And that proves the above post. Most people in the U.S.A. would learn from their mistakes, and shut up when necessary.

Here is a link that proves he has doubled down. from "The Hill" . written by By Justin Wise - 07/21/19 08:21 AM EDT (two days ago) :
