The lies and smears only benefit the GOP. It weakens the Democratic party by creating division and distrust. It does absolutely nothing to benefit "those whose lives hang in the balance". In fact it does the exact opposite for the most vulnerable among us. The lies and negativity generates apathy. Apathy discourages voter turnout. Low voter turnout gives Republicans and Russia a chance to steal the elections. What good purpose does that serve?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
