Democratic Primaries
In reply to the discussion: Why would Warren endorse a guy that told her a woman could not win the Presidency? [View all]TwilightZone
(28,835 posts)16. I think most have already made up their minds.
Polls show them splitting roughly 50/50. They know all of the people involved and what they stand for. I don't think a debate or two is going to make much difference there.
She'll be treated very well at the convention. Why wouldn't she be? The only way I see it being a problem is if she endorsed Biden now and Bernie made a miracle comeback. Then, some of his supporters might treat her poorly as they did John Lewis and others in 2016. Otherwise, I think she'll have a prominent role there.

primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

OP
But being said by this particular person, this particular candidate has a bit of self-fulfilling

So Sanders says it, calls Warren a liar on national tv. Ya, tell me about his integrity.

Why would Warren endorse ANY male candidate. She needn't help or hurt either. Let 'em duke it out.

Some. To a Biden supporter. But her 52% need to see what happens when Joe/Bernie duke it out.

It's also good to remember that the months ahead could change your projection. We'll see.

You're right. She won't. I don't know about you but I'm still waiting to see how the DNC treats her

This. Neither deserve her endorsement. I wasn't thrilled with Biden supporters, either.

That serves democracy best, as she repeatedly points out. She's absolutely right.

I can't see her endorsing Joe unless he wraps it up or Bernie concedes

Those things were unfortunate but I think we need to get past these intramural disputes now and
