In reply to the discussion: Bernie stumbles [View all]I'm an English professor and I cut a lot of leeway on sites like this with people who don't use the English language correctly. Not once have I ever impugned a person's argument over a spelling, which is what you have just done.
In fact, as professors, we are trained to look at the person's line of argument. Yes, spelling and grammar are important but they take a back seat to the thinking process. And how dare you challenge my sources? They are credible sources and I know what I am talking about. I have been an activist in the legal system for decades. I have formed nationwide organizations that help people with no access to a lawyer do their own pro se work. What have you done?
Your post indicates you do not understand my point, which I have detailed more in an additional post. This candidate is a part of a system that needs to go. I don't want anyone in office who does not understand how serious this problem is. Show me what she's said that proves otherwise--I'd be delighted to hear it.
