(761 posts)Trump won the election with "Lots of good paying jobs" and "Make America Great Again". Those voters are up for grabs because Trump failed in those promises. The winning message is "Good paying living wage job" and "Make America Fair for You and Your Kids". The other issues had those voters in 2016. Don't need to reinforce the issues that are already have won. Need to get the extra votes to win. Those are the voters that can't afford medicine or medical care or to send their kids to college. Trump deserted and disappointed them but he can lie them into voting for him again unless our candidate champions them. The voters that can determine the election are too busy trying to survive to analyze issues. Unless their problem of affording to live is the prime message they will "wait to see what happens" and be vulnerable to Trumps lies. Winning them has to overcome the guy that could:

Forget about attacking or showing what a contradiction Trump is.
Our candidate has to promise to fulfill Trumps promises of lots of good paying jobs and make America Great Again. The voters that gave Trump the election had a heritage of lots of Good Paying Jobs in the 50s, 60s and start of the 70s. The poverty of the working poor was a choice made by the GOP . They passed every possible law to short circuit money from jobs producing investments into paper trading to huge stagnating reserves.
