(2,275 posts)But as for wisdom, he supported the Iraq war, one of the biggest blunders in recent history. He has blamed underpaid and stretched-thin teachers for our crumbling schools rather than addressing school and university under-funding (while enduring bureaucracy bloat which ate up teacher salaries and destroyed the arts/humanities curriculum).
He's got a good vibe, though, and more traditional Americans might simply go for the familarity and vibe factor. Kamala Harris should be his running mate and position her for a run 4 years later (use Biden as a corrective and Harris as the smarter replacement). THEN invite Warren in as a policy genius and give her 12 terms of leadership on the inside. Cory, Pete and Bernie would be great as cabinet posts as well... That West Coast guy, Jay Inslee who is spot on about fighting global warming should be head of the EPA...
But I'll vote for any Democrat and any combination of the current slate.
