We need to get our shit together.

The more I study and research and watch documentaries, the more I learn.

The more I learn that right now, the biggest threat to our economy and overall existence is wall street and the murder they get away with daily.

The continuing funneling of money to the top earners, the continuing amount of tax they get away without paying or very little tax, sometimes a percentages LESS than you or I pay.

Illegal immigration, abortion, guns are good talking points, but they do NOT have any where NEAR the amount of impact the current state of the economy, wealth inequality, and class warfare has on all citizens of the US.

Then I see the biggest pick for the next President is Joe Biden...of all people.

Bernie....who has a lot of good ideas, ideas I like, is still being labeled as as socialist and being eaten alive on here sometimes.

We cannot endure more "establishment politics". That includes picking an establishment dem for the next president.

We need radical, immediate change ideas inside the mind of the next president.

Another 4 years of Trump will be the end of the US.

4 Years of HRC (if she runs) or Biden will only serve to remove the very slightest of the shit pile of that the 4 years of Trump, and 8 years of GWB has flung into the working mechanism of the economy.

Like climate control, we need change TODAY. We don't need little changes that we immediately get removed the next time a GOP becomes president.

Anyone who does not claim that they are going to rip Wall St and the 1% a new one...should not even be CONSIDERED an ideal choice.

Housing is so screwed up right now.

I've lived in apartments 3 years and I'm sick of it.
Wanted to find a cheaper house, but there are so many people "flipping" it is impossible.
Also anytime a cheaper house pops up, a slum lord buys it to rent out.
Houses than rent for $1200 a month here can be mortgaged for HALF THAT.
Renting a house..a lot of people want EACH ADULT TO GROSS 3X the rent.
So if a house is renting for $1200 a month, they want the couple to make $7,200 combined.
Ridiculous.

This country has turned so greedy it is going to be the eventual ruin of itself.

Tomi Lahren struck a nerve today.

I drive for Uber and to be honest..who gave this lady a platform?

She is a personification of white privilege and entitlement wrapped up in a shell of a person who lacks basic human dignity.

I'm getting sick of the spinelessness.

If 1/3rd of the crap that is going on now would of went on in the 60's, there would be rioting in the streets.

Trump and his minions have abused their power several times, and it has damn near became a dictatorship.

Mainly because the dems have done little to stop it.

Enough is enough! Get rid of this flying circus called the trump admin and return our country to it's normal and former self!

Politics are merely a distraction.

We argue over crumbs when someone ran off with the cake.

Facts that really piss me off.

Many fast food restaurants cook in advance, this results in literally tons of food getting pitched every day.
At the same time people go to bed hungry.

There are over 16 million empty homes in America.
Enough to give 6 to every homeless. At a time when housing is ridiculously costly.

More recently...

Some people have not a single penny to their name.
Wall Street bonuses were 3x the earnings of all full-time workers making federal minimum wage

Why do people accept this, why do so many not try to change this?

One thing I hate about government benefits.

Now that I work two jobs, I am over the limit for food stamps, and close to losing my medicaid.

Between food stamps and medicaid, the cost of those two benefits was around $500 per month.

Which means that I have to earn another $500/mo ON TOP of the extra money I get to make up for it.

Which also means I will have more of my income taken out to pay for my student loans.

Which will also possibly put me into a higher tax bracket, meaning EVEN MORE money taken out.

It really seems to be that it's actually cheaper in some ways to be poor than it is to be slightly above poor but not middle class.

Not sure whose idea it was, but it's stupid and sucks, quite frankly.

The biggest threat to our economy.

RENT

..and both sides seem to talk so little about it.

The amount of work hours needed to afford a simple 1BR apartment has doubled since the 1960's.

College debt? You don't HAVE to go to college. (It's a good idea and will net you more money, but it's not a requirement).
New car prices? You can uber or user public transportation.
Stock market? A lot of people can't even afford to invest.

Yet the above gets mentioned more than rent. It effects everyone, and younger folks struggle to save enough for a house down payment, due to rent being so expensive.

The economy is doing great.

Rent is high right now, and expect to pay over $1,000/mo for the smallest house, or $600 a month for the smallest apartment.

Going to college is high right now, and in a few years 1 in 4 students will have over $100k in debt.

Used cars are expensive. Expect to pay at least $5,000 for a halfway decent used car, compared to $2,000 about 6-7 years ago.

New cars are also expensive. The average new payment is over $500/mo.

Bank rates have gone up, loans are now more expensive as a result.

Yes, the economy is doing great if your a rich, greedy person who is part of the groups who separate the rich from the poor, and make the rich poorer and the poor unable to even function anymore.

I'm not even 30 and can see how well the economy has been ruined. It happens every time we get a Republican as potus, saw it with Bush II and Trump.

How anyone who doesn't make $200,000 a year vote Republican is beyond me. They are the dumbest bunch of people to walk the planet.
