Poor Trump...

He will forever be known as "Peeotus" (which works even when he's potus) no matter what happens.

It's funny (ironic?) that the guy that likes to make kindergarten nicknames for others gets one himself. Even better, it sends his sycophants into a rage at the "disrespect for the office".

Russian connections to the alt-right

I've been noticing this for a few years; the most polarizing stories seem to originate from sites tied to Russia.

If we take this election lying down, we might not be allowed to get back up; it can happen here.

“I really believe that Russia is the leader of the free world right now," Heimbach told Business Insider in a recent interview. "Putin is supporting nationalists around the world and building an anti-globalist alliance, while promoting traditional values and self-determination."

And while he views Russia as a "model for civilization" and "a beacon for nationalists," Heimbach emphasized that the movement goes beyond Russia and traditional left-right politics.

Okay, now Kelly Anne is trolling us...

...and I hope we don't bite. She wants us fighting each other instead of her monkey.

Kellyanne Conway: Race would have been tougher if Sanders was VP pick

"Yes," she told Tapper during a special edition of CNN's "State of the Union," filmed at Harvard University's Institute of Politics in Cambridge, Massachusetts. "And Bernie Sanders -- I'd also like to publicly thank Bernie Sanders for his effect on our campaign because he softened up Hillary Clinton. He won 22 states and 13 million voters, and that ain't nothing."

Dem blame game rages over Clinton loss

There are already people doing this arguing crap for us so we don't need to do it here. I've mostly been ignoring threads bashing Hillary (I supported her in the primaries) and I'm pretty sure I haven't posted in any Bernie trashing threads either. We can't relitigate the primary forever.

Trump's Victory Has Fearful Minorities Buying Up Guns

I'm now picturing an obnoxious Trumplet thinking he's going to scare a skinny vegan with glasses and getting shot.

And I mean no offense to skinny people, vegans or the near/far sighted.

Russia and Trump use the same tactics

Remember how Trump would accuse Hillary of something and then a week later information would come out that he did that exact something? Look what Russia says now:

This doesn't make me suspicious at all.

UPDATE: Judge lets Clinton join recount lawsuit

I think she's actually fighting for transparency and not the Presidency.

A judge has allowed Hillary Clinton to join Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein's lawsuit seeking a hand recount in Wisconsin.

Dane County Circuit Judge Valerie Bailey-Rihn granted a request from Clinton's attorneys to join the lawsuit without comment during a hearing Tuesday afternoon. Clinton's team had argued she has a stake in the recount and manual counting is the most transparent method for the public.

Donald Trump beat Clinton by about 22,000 votes in Wisconsin. The recount will start Thursday if Stein or De La Fuente or both meet a Tuesday deadline to pay the $3.5 million cost.

Roger Stone: Clinton more likely to face prosecution after recount

http://www.politico.com/story/2016/11/roger-stone-clinton-prosecution-recount-231903

Petty much?

Roger Stone, the Republican strategist and campaign confidant of Donald Trump, suggested Monday without evidence that Hillary Clinton is more likely to face prosecution under the president-elect’s administration because her campaign is cooperating with Jill Stein’s recount effort.

Again offering no evidence, Stone told Steve Malzberg that “we have to presume” that the money funding the Stein campaign’s call for a recount is from billionaire donor George Soros or from Clinton, who lost the White House to Trump this month in a major upset.

Trumplets organizing against the recount

The craziest of the Trumplets are now creating form letters to send to various officials and news media. I've quoted the form letter below but there are links to lots of different officials' and news sites' emails in the thread. It's just a friggin' recount, why are they panicking?

Dear Wisconsin/Michigan/Pennsylvania Governor, Election Board, News:

Do you think it is right that your state should allow a recount after our country FINALLY BEGAN TO HEAL? Stop the division, stop the recount!

If recount happens, please do not allow campaign members to volunteer due to a clear lack of neutrality. What are you doing to get the word out so democracy loving Americans this state know they can volunteer?

Lastly, what assurance can you give me--GIVE AMERICA--that the recount will be completed by the December 13th deadline so this state can be represented at the Electoral College vote casting on the 19th of December?

Thank you for your time!

Sincerely,

[YOUR FIRST AND LAST NAME HERE]

PS: I will forward my concerns I listed above to the Governor's Office/Election Board/Local News.

I don't like to link to this place, but the links therein could also be helpful to DUers. Just... don't read any of the other threads at that place; it's one step up from 4chan. I think it's where Infowars gets their headlines.
