I watched AR15.com rip a victim of assault to shred the other day.

After seeing how the group AR15.com treated my best friend, who was a victim of assault last year, I think people need to be able to pass a mental test of some kind. Those "men" were able to look at the bloody face of someone who was just violently beaten, *resulting in broken ribs, broken collarbone, and a cheekbone fracture with facial swelling to the point that she could not properly see* and they goaded one another into a pack mentality to rip her throat out . . . they were happy she was bleeding. They laughed and belittled and cursed and called her ugly and wondered why anyone would assault her since she's so gross. You could see the glee in everything they typed.

They got together and used a 'fire mission' where they all went and reported her fundraiser as a fraud. Fortunately, she was able to provide adequate evidence to support the need for the fundraiser, but some of that evidence was humiliating to share and it set her way back on her road to recovery. If grown men and gun owners can behave that way, antagonizing a woman and laughing at her agony, then they don't need guns. People who act like children are the reckless little men who shoot a kid while "cleaning" their gun.

I support the 2nd Amendment and love to go muddin' and then to the firin' range with my pals. After seeing what they did to my friend, though? I would be scared to death with any of them near me. If they can derive that much pleasure at someone's pain, what are they capable of doing in person. How far would they go?

This is the girl they crucified, by the way. Thank God the site owners personally called her and she faxed over everything they needed. She cried the whole time she was doing it. It was like being broken again.

This is my friend just after her entire world was flipped upside down on March 23, 2011. Warning: photos of the aftermath can be triggering and jarring.

That's who they dog-piled, mocked, insulted, called out, called names, and hid behind their little keyboards tapping away to mock and accuse instead of picking up the phone and verifying the police report for themselves. It's there. It's available.

If the majority of gun owners are like those from AR15.com -- God help us all.

* I was not there to see the injuries when it occurred. I am merely repeating what I was told about the extent of her injuries. I can, however, see the scars this assault left behind on her brow, lip, and cheek.
