Amendments

There were several more amendments proposed, but the courts, in an unusual move ruled they were constructed with the purpose of deliberately misleading voters on their intent and were struck from the ballot. Of those left, most deal with taxes and exemptions. Some shift the tax burden from one group to another, some give special consideration to a group or class and are all designed to redirect power to the state legislature which, in case you are unfamiliar with Florida politics, is the most corrupt bunch of good-ole-boys you will ever encounter. These amendments are all dressed up to look nice, but they are mostly wolves in sheeps clothing. My recommendation is to vote NO on most of them. The Palm Beach Post had a great editorial detailing what each purports to do versus what each will actually do.
