Haven't seen much here
about The Vice President's plan for Medicare paying for long term in home care for Seniors. This is a major plan that can benefit so many people and families. I'm interested in seeing what others think. Just pondering while awaiting Hilton's visit.

Whos minding the store?
Getting pretty ticked with Florida's politicians. Many parts of the state suffered heavy damage. Flooding was bad. Where are the so called leaders cheering up those devastated by Helene and offering help? No Death Santis. No little Marco and no Rick Scott who's running for re-election. Perhaps Rick is cleaning up his mega mansion on the gulf after the storm surge? Never seen politicians run from natural disasters like this anywhere. Losers all!
Where's Ronnie?
Been watching storm coverage for about 48 hours non stop. Haven't seen or heard anything from our esteemed Governor, Ron DeSantis. Is he in town? Is he in the country? Or is he hiding in the attic trying to keep away from the hurricane?

Looks like DeSantis, etal are backing down from developing a golf course in an environmentally sensitive state park. Yeah!

So many were obsessing about super star appearances on Thursday at the DNC. I suspected it was misinformation from the beginning. Kamala was rightfully the Superstar that night!

Going to get in hot water
But what is the obsession with a certain Ms Swift, a popular singer among young people, many of whom can't vote? One of the most important elections of my long lifetime is being cheapened by calls for her to appear tonight. This is the night for the speech given by a very important woman who has accomplished much, will be a trailblazer and can better the lives of so many. Isn't she enough for some? Life isn't a video game or a popular song. I'm sure Ms Swift is very popular and beloved but this is too important tonight.
