Trump is railing against yet another Republican governor: "I don't invite her to events"

Source: https://www.salon.com/2023/07/10/

Another one makes it to himself's "sh-t" list.

Donald Trump once again took to Truth Social to unleash a bitter tirade against a former political ally. This time, the former president and 2024 candidate took a swing at Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds, a fellow Republican.

On Monday, Trump's lash-out followed reporting from the New York Times that Reynolds has a close relationship with Trump's closest primary-race competitor, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Reynolds has also said that she won't formally endorse any GOP candidates in the primary -- as is customary for Iowa governors.

"I opened up the Governor position for Kim Reynolds, & when she fell behind, I ENDORSED her, did big Rallies, & she won," Trump wrote in his post. "Now, she wants to remain 'NEUTRAL.' I don't invite her to events! DeSanctus down 45 points!"

Despite Reynolds reserve of formal endorsement, the governor has appeared with DeSantis in all three of his Iowa events, and join DeSantis' wife, Casey, to launch the voter-courting campaign "Mamas for DeSantis."

(That's actually the whole article - all of four paragraphs.)

Albuquerque refers Trump campaign's unpaid rally bill to collection agency

Source: https://www.salon.com

The city of Albuquerque, New Mexico, has referred the Trump campaign's unpaid rally debt to a collections agency, according to Mayor Tim Keller.

Trump left office with nearly $2 million in unpaid bills from cities that hosted his campaign rallies, including a $211,175 invoice from Albuquerque, stemming from his 2019 event in Rio Rancho.

"We decided to bill him because the costs to the city were tremendous," Keller told The Daily Show's Jordan Klepper this week. "They made us shut down downtown. We had to close City Hall. … In my mind, he owes us a lot more because there were about a day and a half where we couldn't even function as a city."

The bill includes costs for extra police protection, security measures and paid leave for city employees who were forced to stay home. But as of roughly 18 months later, Keller said that "no phone calls have been returned, so we hired a collection agency."

Anyone else happen to see this??

Mr. "I'm a billionaire" shows once again what a frikkin deadbeat he is when it comes to paying his bills.

What a standup guy – and the fools keep sending him money.

Any eventual settlement should have the requirement of coming out of his pocket personally - with a very large penalty, plus cost to the municipality making the claim.
