Fred Rogers wife says, if alive today, he would have to speak up about how damaging Trump is

The Lost Forests of New England - Eastern Old Growth

If anyone brings up immigrants "breaking the law" remind them Trump does too

Just a few laws he has broken:

Charity fraud - Most regular folks go to jail for this
His fraud University
Foreign Emoluments Clause
Domestic Emoluments Clause

This site lists a number of them: https://www.quora.com/Has-Trump-broken-any-laws-yet

On another note, when they say the families should be separated because the law says so I tell them that Trump caved due to intense political pressure and signed an executive order stopping the practice. So that is the NEW law and since they are so big on laws being enforced they should support the new law that says they should not be separated.

New Survey Shows Young People Are Staying Liberal and Conservatives Are Dying Off

For obvious reasons, the broadly liberal demographic trends in American politics have received much less attention since the 2016 election. Yet the fact remains that America is politically sorted by generations in a way it never has before. The oldest voters are the most conservative, white, and Republican, and the youngest voters the most liberal, racially diverse, and Democratic. There is absolutely no sign the dynamic is abating during the Trump years. If anything, it is accelerating.

The most recent Pew Research Survey has more detail about the generational divide. It shows that the old saw that young people would naturally grow more conservative as they age, or that their Democratic loyalties were an idiosyncratic response to Barack Obama’s unique personal appeal, has not held. Younger voters have distinctly more liberal views than older voters:

Warning, most idiotic, repulsive conservative political cartoon I have seen recently

Because Gov. sponsored kidnapping of kids is perfectly moral. Those poor, poor conservatives are clearly the victims in all this. What will they do if they can't get away with child abuse anymore?

Wikipedia Added US Border 'Detention Centers' to Its List of Concentration Camps

The detention centers along the US-Mexico border housing hundreds of migrant children who have been separated from their parents in the last six weeks are now included in Wikipedia's list of concentration camps, Gizmodo reports. It joins a dishearteningly long list of other sites of atrocity throughout history, from Dachau to the Soviet gulags to America's WWII-era Japanese internment camps.

"As part of the 2018 Trump administration family separation policy, nearly 2,000 immigrant children have been taken from their parents and placed in 'detention centers,'" the new section of the Wikipedia article currently reads. "These centers have been described by those in opposition to the policy as 'concentration camps.' The centers had previously been cited by Texas officials for more than 150 health violations."

The section has, unsurprisingly, ignited a string of debate and revisions since it was first added, with editors of the online encyclopedia arguing about the appropriateness of including these immigrant detention centers alongside Nazi extermination camps like Auschwitz. One user has called for the section to be locked "to prevent vandalism," but it is currently still open for edits.
