Wanted you to see this clip from Oscars that ABC and CNN have CUT from their coverage.

Leonardo DiCaprio: “Support leaders around the world who do not speak for the big corporations”

Notice how CNN omits the phrase (in the clip above) from its print reporting.

"Climate change is real. It is happening right now; we needed to go to the tip of South America to find snow. ... It is the most urgent threat facing our entire species," he said. "We need to support leaders around the world who speak for indigenous people, for humanity, the voices who have been drowned out by the politics of greed. Do not take this planet for granted. ... I do not take this night for granted. Thank you."

PRESIDENT TRUMP: Sorry about that nuclear war, America. Bad ear piece.

Trump on Today about Duke/KKK exchange yesterday:

"I'm sitting in a house in Florida with a very bad ear piece and I could hardly hear him."

Donald Trump tells TODAY's Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie he's "disavowed" former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke and blamed a "very bad earpiece" for his earlier inability to repeatedly repudiate the group.

Trump claimed he believed CNN anchor Jake Tapper was asking him about "various groups" and not just the KKK during a Sunday interview.

(H U G E !) MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough finally disavows Trump after ‘breathtaking’ KKK comments

“The Ku Klux Klan,” Tapper prompted him.

“You may have some groups in there that are totally fine, and it would be very unfair,” Trump added. “So, give me a list of groups and I’ll let you know.”

After sharing the clip Monday morning, a stunned Joe Scarborough and a dismayed Mika Brzezinski appeared almost speechless.

“That’s disqualifying right there,”
Scarborough said. “It’s breathtaking. That is disqualifying right there. To say you don’t know about the Ku Klux Klan? You don’t know about David Duke? And the most stunning thing is … this isn’t buying him a single vote. Is he really so stupid that he think southerners aren’t offended by the Ku Klux Klan and David Duke?”

The loss of support of Scarborough is a stunning reversal for Trump, with the MSNBC host considered one of his biggest boosters.

I guess they’ll excuse this, too?

Barrett, the author of the 1992 unauthorized biography "Trump: The Deals and the Downfall," wrote that Trump's life "intertwines with the underworld."

.......... As Trump cements his leads atop the polls, questions about how he made his billions, and who helped him make them, are starting to take center stage.

..............

To be sure, organized crime had ties to the New York and New Jersey construction industry in the 1980's and early 1990's, making contact between developers and mafia-controlled companies almost unavoidable at times.

"There was a certain amount of mob association during which the father and he were building, which was very difficult to avoid in the New York construction world," Barrett said, adding, "He went out of his way not to avoid them, but to increase them."

In a recent Federalist article, David Marcus writes that Trump bought the property that his Atlantic City casino Trump Plaza would one day occupy -- for twice market price -- from Salvatore Testa, a Philly mobster and son of one-time Philly mob boss Philip "Chicken Man" Testa. (Springsteen fans might recognize the elder Testa from the opening lines of the song, Atlantic City.)

In his book, Barrett writes that Testa and a partner, who together headed a Philly mafia hit-squad called the Young Executioners, bought the property for "a scant $195,000" in 1977. In 1982, Trump paid $1.1 million for it.

DOJ: Trump’s Early Businesses Blocked Blacks - “C” for “Colored.”

GIDEON RESNICK 12.14.15 10:00 PM ET

A 1973 suit against Trump and the Trump Organization claimed that superintendents at Trump properties would mark African American’s applications with a ‘C’ for ‘Colored’ and other racial codes.

When an African American showed up to rent an apartment owned by a young real-estate scion named Donald Trump and his family, the building superintendent did what he claimed he’d been told to do. He allegedly attached a separate sheet of paper to the application, marked with the letter “C.”

“C” for “Colored.”

According to the Department of Justice, that was the crude code that ensured the rental would be denied.

Details of this secret system, as well as other practices that the Trump organization allegedly used to exclude black residents from its buildings in Brooklyn, Queens, and Norfolk, Virginia, in the 1970s, were recorded in a lawsuit brought by the DOJ against Trump and his father, Fred, in 1973 for alleged violations of the Fair Housing Act.

Trump pinatas becoming hot items in Albuquerque, Santa Fe

Jose Carlos Andre, manager of the Santa Fe Mexican butcher shop El Paisano, told the Santa Fe New Mexican (http://goo.gl/Y3Yn7v) after word went out that the store had Trump pinatas, whites even started coming into the store to buy them. They had been popular with mainly Mexican immigrants until recently, he said.

"Funny enough, he is bringing us business," said Andre, 26.

Dulceria Puebla in Albuquerque also is selling the Trump pinatas and workers there say they go quickly.

Trump pinatas became hot items in U.S. cities with large Latino populations after Trump made comments about Mexican immigrants.

"When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best," Trump, now a leading Republican candidate, said last summer. "They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."

"NO TRUMP" Farmer uses manure from his 15 cows & bulls for anti-Trump message

?1456697496

Jerry Slankard of Strasburg used manure from his fifteen cows and bulls to write the words "No Trump" big enough so airplanes could read his message.

It took the farmer about four hours to haul enough animal manure to express that message.

.......................

"We're from Tuscarawas County, a very rural farm county, and that's the way we do things around here," said Ashley Slankard

"He made me happy. Pop's still got it," said Rachel Slankard.
