It's simple - "Trump is guilty. The evidence shows he helped Russia attack the US."

The basic facts of the Russia investigation get lost in all the noise:

1. Russia had a plan to interrupt the election thru hacking & misinformation.

2. It contacted the Trump campaign.

3. The Trump campaign accepted Russia's help.

4. This wasn't just sketchy, it was ILLEGAL.

Joe Scarborough: "Mr. President, can you imagine anyone would be so cruel to do such a thing?"

I agree that it would be “vicious” and “unfair” to lie about a loved one having a facelift for the purpose of causing pain and embarrassment. Mr. President, can you imagine anyone would be so cruel to do such a thing?

Kellyanne Conway just called Trump "the Commander of Cheese"

Eagles player: “Reasons vary from player to player, because the President gives people so many reasons not to want to go .... Lots of guys who are white and even conservative balked at the possibility of going.”

MY HERO: A man takes a knee during Trump's celebration.

My Hero!

At The White House. One guy in the audience took a knee during the national anthem at President Trumps celebration of America no Eagles event. Left right after - didn’t wanna talk

A man took a knee during the national anthem at President Trump’s “Celebration of America” event Tuesday amid renewed uproar over NFL protests during the song.

European reporters captured a photo and video of the unidentified individual kneeling during a performance of the national anthem.

Jesper Zølck, a reporter for TV2 in Denmark, tweeted a photo of the man. Zolck wrote that the individual left the event quickly after it ended, and did not want to speak to the media

Trump's "Celebration of America" event lasted roughly 10 minutes. It featured renditions of "The Star-Spangled Banner" and "God Bless America" by the United States Marine Band and the United States Army Chorus.

reminded me of THIS:

"I've asked 6 of the "fans" at WH who was Eagles quarterback during super bowl. Not ONE person knew"

crisis actors?

I’ve asked 6 of the “fans” at the White House who was the @Eagles quarterback during the super bowl. Not ONE person knew. @NBCPhiladelphia

Not exactly sure who these @Eagles “fans” are but I have counted exactly one item of clothing with an eagles logo on it at the White House.

At his Celebration of America event, Trump doesn't appear to know the words to "God Bless America."

No picture so perfectly captures America in 2018 as this one -

Miss America is scrapping the swimsuit portion from its pageant

(CNN)The next edition of the Miss America pageant will scrap swimsuits and will be more inclusive to women of all sizes, the contest announced Tuesday.

Gretchen Carlson, the chairwoman of the Miss America board of directors, announced on "Good Morning America" that the event will no longer feature a swimsuit portion.

Miss America will be a competition, not a pageant, Carlson said on the show Tuesday.

"We will no longer judge our candidates on their outward physical appearance. That's huge," she said.
Carlson also said the new Miss America competition will be more inclusive to women of "all shapes and sizes."

EXCLUSIVE: Former Fox News reporter says Russians colluded with Trump campaign through Roger Stone

EXCLUSIVE: Former Fox News reporter says Russians colluded with Trump campaign through Roger Stone
New book details Russians' decisive role in making Trump's campaign messages go viral.
JUN 5, 2018, 9:54 AM

In a series of exclusive interviews, former Fox News Channel chief political correspondent Carl Cameron explained to ThinkProgress how the Russians coordinated their cyber attack on the 2016 election with the Trump campaign.

“Trump confidant Roger Stone’s success was having the connections and creating the opportunities for [Russian intelligence officer] Guccifer2.0 and other Russian groups to really start taking advantage of social media and pounding these negative memes that Hillary’s a crook, et cetera,” Cameron explained to ThinkProgress’ Joe Romm — as related in the new book, How to Go Viral and Reach Millions.

Russian interference was decisive in electing Trump, as former director of national intelligence James R. Clapper Jr. told PBS in late May. “To me, it just exceeds logic and credulity that they didn’t affect the election, and it’s my belief they actually turned it,” Clapper said.

How the Trump campaign and the Russians coordinated their message
In his interviews with ThinkProgress, Cameron, who covered the Trump campaign for Fox News, connected the dots between the campaign, Russian intelligence, and the various Russian trolls around the world who were creating and viralizing memes and fake news on social media to help elect Trump.

The email Roger Stone didn’t want anyone to see
Cameron explained that getting Trump elected had been a major goal of long-time Trump adviser and surrogate Roger Stone. Stone had encouraged Trump to run for years, and in 2000 he worked on Trump’s brief run for the Reform Party presidential nomination. He worked for Trump’s presidential campaign in 2015 before transitioning to a more informal advisory role.
