CBS: National Archives asks Justice Department to investigate Trump's handling White House records

Is this why McConnell, other Republicans and some at Fox are distancing themselves from TFG?

CBS National Archives asks Justice Department to investigate Trump's handling of White House records

The National Archives and Records Administration has asked the Justice Department to investigate former President Trump's handling of White House records, CBS News has learned.

A referral does not necessarily mean that there will be an investigation, a source familiar with internal deliberations said. The source said referrals like these are standard procedure when there are possible criminal violations. The Washington Post was the first to report the request.

The handling of White House documents during the Trump administration has come under scrutiny recently after the National Archives retrieved 15 boxes of records from the former president's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

(Trump's lawyers had him release the following statement)

"Following collaborative and respectful discussions, the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) arranged for the transport of boxes that contained Presidential Records in compliance with the Presidential Records Act," the former president said. "Much of this material will someday be displayed in the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library for the public to view my administration's incredible accomplishments for the American people. The media's characterization of my relationship with NARA is Fake News. It was exactly the opposite! It was a great honor to work with NARA to help formally preserve the Trump Legacy."

A good news story from Columbus, OH

Well a right wing dentist had rented out some of his property to Mike Lindell aka "my pillow guy" for a brick and mortar retail store late last summer. Well I drove by it today and pillow guy sign was down and a for rent sign was up.

They could not have picked a worst spot in America for a Mike Lindell/my pillow guy store. Clintonville is very liberal and I know a bunch of people who wanted to welcome Mike to the neighborhood.

USA Today: The 'but Hillary's emails' crowd goes silent about Trump's document destruction

Remember when, in October 2016, House Republicans launched a series of hearings attacking the then-Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton over her emails?

Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan, who now serves as the lead Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, fumed that “Hillary Clinton gets treated different than anybody else.” Another member of the panel stated, “This is the reason for this hearing – the sloppiness, the messiness, and the ability for a secretary of State to do something that shouldn’t have been done.” Another Republican weighed in, “I want to know about the destruction – the hammering of BlackBerrys.” The panel’s chairman at the time, Jason Chaffetz, who can now be seen espousing self-righteous nonsense of Fox News, attacked Clinton, “The secretary had a choice. She chose to not abide by the rules of the State Department.”

As reported by The Post, “The National Archives and Records Administration last month retrieved 15 boxes of documents and other items from former president Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence because the material should have been turned over to the agency when he left the White House, Archives officials said Monday. … The Archives has struggled to cope with a president who flouted document retention requirements and frequently ripped up official documents, leaving hundreds of pages taped back together – or some that arrived at the Archives still in pieces.”

Given these bombshell revelations, coupled with their concern for federal government record-keeping compliance, you would think Republicans would be foaming at the mouth, chanting “Lock Him Up” and calling for an immediate series of hearings and subpoenas to be issued to anyone who was a part of the Trump White House.

Jim Jordan isn’t grand-standing on Fox News calling Donald Trump incompetent or a liar or “absolutely wrong.”

I have been giving hearts to the heartless 2-day and I was wondering if I posted about that would..

.... Duers "heart bomb" me? Or would I just come across as needy and shallow?

Anybody have a link to the story that the 1/6 Committee is getting Pence's emails, texts, and ...

... call logs?

Breakfast of Champions. Pozole.

Liz Cheney to Jim Jordan: 'You Fucking Did This' / President Trump and Rep. Jim Jordan spoke on ....

the phone for 10 minutes the morning of the Jan. 6 riot.

Said Cheney: “That fucking guy Jim Jordan. That son of a bitch.… While these maniacs are going through the
place, I’m standing in the aisle and he said, ‘We need to get the ladies away from the aisle. Let me help you.’
I smacked his hand away and told him, ‘Get away from me. You fucking did this.'”

Former President Trump and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) spoke on the phone for 10 minutes the morning of the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol in 2021, two sources told CNN.

The two sources reviewed call records the Jan. 6 House committee received from the National Archives last month.

Jordan has previously said he spoke to Trump on the day of the Capitol riot, but has been inconsistent about when the two talked or for how long.

"I talked to the president a number of times that day, but I don't remember the times," Jordan told CNN on Friday when questioned about the 10-minute call.

Jordan said he could “not recall” when the two specifically talked, but said he knows “I talked to him after we left off the floor.”

Kick Gym out of Congress now and then lock him and TFG up. No wonder why TFG was working so hard to hide
the White House Records and Gym was working so hard to get onto the Jan. 6th committee and at the same time
avoiding giving any testimony.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., has vetoed two Republican nominees to the panel set to investigate the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.

Citing "statements and actions" made by the pair — Reps. Jim Banks of Indiana and Jim Jordan of Ohio — Pelosi said she was rejecting their nominations "with respect for the integrity of the investigation."

"The unprecedented nature of January 6th demands this unprecedented decision," Pelosi said.

This storm is one big mean bastard ... it goes from TX & NM and all the way into Maine/Canada

Tracking north and east. We are getting freezing rain now for another 3 hours and then about
10 to 14" of snow.

When the rain came I thought you'd leave
'Cause I knew how much you loved the sun
But you chose to stay, stay and keep me warm
Through the darkest nights I've ever known
If the mandolin wind couldn't change a thing
Then I know I love ya

Oh, the snow fell without a break
Buffalo died in the frozen fields you know
Through the coldest winter in almost fourteen years
I couldn't believe you kept a smile
Now I can rest assured knowing that we've seen the worst
And I know I love ya

Coffee, butter biscuits, and red grapefruit and then out to spread some ice melt.

Adam Kinzinger calls Josh Hawley 'one of the worst human beings' and a 'con artist'

Adam Kinzinger calls Josh Hawley 'one of the worst human beings' and a 'con artist' after the senator urges Biden to block Ukraine from joining NATO

Can you imagine what would have happened in the 40s (Cold War & China), 50s (McCarthy & Korea), 60s (Vietnam & Cold War), 70s (Russia & Afghanistan) 80s (Mr. Gorbachev, Tear down this wall) & the 90s if a US Senator had made pro USSR/Russian comments?

Putin owns a large hunk of the GOP & Fox News.

Adam Kinzinger renewed his criticism of Josh Hawley, this time over how the US should handle the Russian-Ukraine
crisis." I hate to be so personal, but Hawley is one of the worst human beings," Kinzinger wrote on Twitter.
Hawley urged Biden to abandon any support for Ukraine joining NATO.

Rep. Adam Kinzinger blasted Sen. Josh Hawley on Wednesday after the senator criticized President Joe Biden for ordering troops to Europe as Russia ramps up its preparations for a potential new invasion of Ukraine, while calling on the White House to block Ukraine from joining the NATO alliance.

"I hate to be so personal, but Hawley is one of the worst human beings, and a self egrandizing [sic] con artist," Kinzinger wrote on Twitter. "When Trump goes down I certainly hope this evil will be laid [sic] in the open for all to see, and be ashamed of."

Stop using Facebook (meta?) altogether / Manchin's campaign received contributions from Facebook

Manchin got paid $300,000.00 (Manchin is 74 he will be 76 or 77 in 2024) that money isn't going to any campaign.

Manchin’s campaign received contributions from companies such as Facebook (now known as Meta), CVS Health, Lowe’s, Anthem, Cigna, Boston Scientific, Cheniere Energy and Emergent BioSolutions.

Facebook (or whatever they are calling it now) and Jeff Zuckerberg suck dead dog dick.

Facebook already quietly paid a $5 billion fine for rat fucking the 2016 election and now they are giving space to anti vaccine right wing idiots, helping to stop the BBB program which would help the American people and would help in our fight for green energy, green jobs, and protecting the earth’s atmosphere. People need to stop using Facebook (meta?) altogether.

Better then sex .... Butter Biscuits
