from the article:Infantes cardboard sign read Blue lives do not exist.
They dont, Infante said. Its a uniform you can take off at the end of the day. A Black life doesnt get to take off their skin at the end of the day..."

There was a "support the police" rally in front of the police station, two blocks from my home. The newspaper article has a number of photos, none of which show the numerous Trump signs that were being waved. It does show one of the city council members who attended, but fails to mention his record of racist remarks and activities.
But the paper, rather surprisingly, noted the counter-protest across the street, and that's what this picture shows.
Our BLM marches and demonstrations have been advertised ahead of time and have been very well attended, which may have something to do with the failure of the "Blue lives" event to give prior public notice.
Anyway, since the governor announced the statewide mask mandate our local sheriff and police chief have stated that they will not enforce it. Welcome to a deep red part of Colorado.

He's SO precedential . . .
Just making sure we know who's in charge.
No surprise, really. After all, the sheriff's campaign was promoted by Ted Nugent.
My bumper stickers just got nervous, I need to go calm them down . . .
For the record, 65% of registered voters in the county are NOT republicans.

Whiff?
Mitt Romney has been getting some interesting press from his comments regarding Trump's actions, gaining bits of praise here and there for his solo GOP willingness to speak up.
His latest opinion on Stone's commuted sentence: Unprecedented, historic corruption: an American president commutes the sentence of a person convicted by a jury of lying to shield that very president.
Can't disagree with that sentiment.
However, we shouldn't hasten to forget that his own history isn't exactly forthcoming ---
Is there, perhaps, a whiff of lingering presidential ambition in the air?

Can someone clear something up for me, please? (re: streaming)
I hear about things like CBS All Access, and now Peacock. I'm guessing those are viewed via computer instead of TV? And are those services worth it, or just another expense?
As always, thanks in advance.
ETA: Guess I should have mentioned that I was born long before the chips were implanted. Under the present circumstances I can't borrow the usual 8-year-old to do this stuff for me; and, adding to my frustration, my vocabulary doesn't understand the meaning of words like 'roku stick' or 'firestick' or 'streaming app' or 'playstation app' or 'x-box app' or 'widget'. I grew up plugging in the tv and twisting a dial to turn it on, and that's pretty much the extent of my technical comprehension. So maybe someone could "dumb down" the conversation to the level of a complete neophyte, because that's really where I am in all this...

Do you ever wonder
Too subtle?
