"Verbal incontinence"

Just heard that on Chris Hayes' show, describing Trump's speaking habits.

Freaking perfect.

Has any brave soul

Has any brave soul wandered over to Fox to see how they're reacting to Mueller today? Any tantrums?
Hissy fits? Outrage? Aneurysms?

I confess.

When the "breaking news" was about Nadler's fainting episode, my first thought was that Trump had dispatched someone to do the deed. Very relieved that Nadler is okay. But I still think that my first thought wasn't unwarranted.

One recall goes away. However...

A while back I posted here about a recall effort against our state legislator. Shortly thereafter, she abruptly resigned. As it turns out, the reasons for her resignation have nothing to do with the "reasons" behind the recall effort. Needless to say, we are stunned and profoundly disappointed in someone we'd worked damned hard to elect. We will shortly choose someone to fill that seat for the remainder of her term, her resignation putting an end to the recall; by law, the party will replace her, the seat remains Democratic.

I don't care to recite the nasty details, you can read them here:

Suffice it to say, Weld County is deeply red as far as elected positions go. District 50 is a rarity with majority Democrats. Not surprisingly, we are already hearing broadbrush smears against all Dems due to this resignation. It's gonna be a long, ugly campaign season.

Thanks for listening.
