A supporter of President Donald Trump got more than he bargained for when he publicly debated a twelve-year-old outside a city council meeting in Huntington Park, California.

Video of the heated altercation was posted to Facebook, according to a new report by People Magazine, who reported that “the angry man was wearing a Trump flag and shouted ‘American! American!’ in support of the U.S. president to the people exiting the meeting.”

The video begins with twelve-year-old Joseph Moreno receiving praise for his public comments inside the city council chambers. The Trump supporter then interrupts saying he was, “a little brainwashed little boy.”

“I’m a racist? I’m a racist?” the man shouted at the twelve-year-old. “You have no idea, you’re just a little boy!”

Just when you thought that there couldn’t possibly be more intrigue surrounding the Megyn Kelly interview with Alex Jones set to air this Sunday, there is this. Mediaite has learned that Kelly Jones, the ex-wife of the InfoWars impresario threatened to publicly “trash” the NBC News host if she was not included in the segment set for broadcast this weekend.

Some background for the blissfully ignorant: Alex and Kelly Jones recently endured a very ugly and public child custody fight following their divorce. Lots of noteworthy and potentially embarrassing details emerged from this coverage, but perhaps none more damaging to the reputation of Alex Jones than the admission that much of his conspiracy theory antics are just those of a “performer.”

Mediaite has learned that Alex Jones ex-wife approached producers of Megyn Kelly’s program this week and demanded she be included in the segment. Obviously since it was this week, the request came well after the interview with the InfoWars host had been shot. It was clear, according to an NBC News source, that she was planning to attack her ex-husband in the segment.

Megyn Kelly’s producers told Ms. Jones that they didn’t know if they could include her in the segment, at which point Jones apparently threatened that if they did not include her, Jones would publish an op-ed which she sent to them. It has been described to us as a “scathing” piece trashing both her ex-husband and the NBC News host.

The Big Oil fix is in. EPA Chief Scott Pruitt held a private briefing with the chief executive officers of 45 gas and oil companies. The topic? No doubt it was coming up with plans to deregulate their industry, roll back pollution and air quality controls, all those things that cost money and get in the way of even bigger profits for Big Oil and Gas. The kicker? Donald Trump himself was enriched by the private swamp meeting, which was held at Trump’s D.C. hotel. Because of course it was.

Little girl thinks this bride is the princess from her favorite book, and it's adorable

A toddler on a walk with her mother in Seattle in February mistook a bride for a storybook princess.

Newlyweds Shandace and Scott Robertson were taking wedding photos in February when they encountered Kelsey Edwards and her daughter, who were walking back from a cupcake treat.

The girl, captivated by Robertson's beauty, thought the bride was the "princess" on the cover of the book she was holding, The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins, which is currently her favorite book. (Shout out to this little girl for appreciating novels by the way.)

Edwards compared what her daughter experienced to "meeting one of your idols on the street."

University of Michigan to offer free tuition to some in-state students

Sitting in the Michigan Union, doing some studying before heading off to her retail job in downtown Ann Arbor, Kate Meyers was unaware that her financial plans for the next several years had just changed.

Meyer, 20, of Grand Rapids, is about to get her University of Michigan tuition paid for. She is one of thousands of current students and a lot more future students who won't have to pay tuition to attend the Ann Arbor school, thanks to the new Go Blue Guarantee unveiled by the school Thursday afternoon and approved by the board.

Here's how it will work: Starting in January 2018, any current or future in-state student whose family earns $65,000 or less will be eligible for free tuition for four years. That's worth about $60,000 for those four years total.

"That's amazing," Meyer said when a reporter explained the program to her. "My parents make less than that. I get a lot of financial aid, but I've still got to work to afford everything, including housing. Not having to worry about paying tuition is incredible."

The Seattle Storm is a women’s basketball team owned by women, coached by women, and managed by women — so it’s no surprise that the team is passionate about issues that affect women.

But now, the team has taken its support for these policy issues to new, unprecedented heights. On Thursday, the Storm became the first professional sports team to publicly support and partner with Planned Parenthood.

“Access to affordable, quality health care, including a full range of reproductive care, is a critical precondition for anyone — especially girls and women, to pursue their dreams and grow into their best selves,” Trudeau said in a press release on Thursday announcing the move.

“The essential services provided by Planned Parenthood make the organization a natural ally and partner for the Storm.”
