Correct me if I am wrong, Mueller found and fired
Lisa Page and Peter Strzok after he learned about not only their political banter but because they broke FBI rules about adultery and fraternizing within dept. When asked, reporters and witnesses should just say; "Yes" ... and Muller was the one who discovered this and then fired them ... not trump or some other repug. 12 Ways to Spot a Misogynist
The misogynists. You may have heard of them. But what you may not realize is that they can be anywhere around you. They are notoriously hard to spot. They do not come with a label attached, and they may even come across as pro-woman.
In most cases, misogynists do not even know that they hate women. Misogyny is typically an unconscious hatred that men form early in life, often as a result of a trauma involving a female figure they trusted. An abusive or negligent mother, sister, teacher or girlfriend can plant a seed deep down in their brains subcortical matter.
Once planted, this seed will germinate and begin to grow, the tiny root working its way into the fear processing and memory areas of the brain as its tiny stem works its way into frontal areas of the brain, affecting emotion and rational decision-making.
The first signs of misogyny are barely noticeable, but with additional exposure to neglect, abuse, or lack of treatment, this behavioral seeding will grow larger and more prominent. But even when the misogyny reaches maturity and the tendency toward acting with hatred toward women can no longer be controlled, the misogynist and the women around him will often fail to notice the condition until its too late.
The following traits are typical of the misogynist:

Why smart men make better partners
Could explain trump?
Jaako Aspara led the research at the Hanken School of Economics in Finland that looked at the question of picking partners from an evolutionary perspective. The team discovered that the levels of a partner's intelligence directly affect the fitness" of the partnership to survive and support the offspring."
The researchers showed a connection between intelligence and marital history. The number of men who got married and stayed hitched increased with each rise in overall intelligence within the five age groups studied. Younger groups most strongly exhibited this effect.
In other interesting conclusions, the scientists found that verbal intelligence relates to the probability of getting married, since being a better talker can make it easier for you to attract a mate. Overall intellectual ability equally relates to getting divorced. Higher intelligence means having the capacity to avoid a breakup by expressing and discussing feelings, according to the research team. On the flip side, notes Whitbourne, studies showed that intelligent women also have more stable and long-lasting marriages.

My wish for all Americans; IAmsterdam life
I want to confront Americans that have never traveled, especially to a well run Democratic Socialist country. If they did travel to Holland, they would break down and cry over the crazy abuse we here in the USA take, while paying big time for it.
Netherlands vs. the U.S.: Two wildly different definitions of freedom
That includes two wildly different visions of freedom.
In the United States, freedom increasingly is defined by the Far Rights freedom to dictate to Americans what they can and cant do. They are free to carry guns, indulge in hate speech with impunity and discriminate openly against groups they dislike.
They are also free to go without healthcare, unoppressed by a tyrannical social safety net.
In the Netherlands, people are not free to do any of those things. But they are free to enjoy unfettered access to all the things the Dutch believe make for a stable and productive society including education, healthcare, a social safety net, a safe and secure environment and jobs.

Lesbians get no credit, only scorn, for starting the Feminist Revolution
Time for women everywhere to say thanks for the bravery of LGBTQ women, who stormed the beaches of patriarchy
Published Spring 2009
In the early 1970s, lesbian activism became a powerful social force as women drew strength from both the gay rights and feminist movements. Throughout the next four decades, lesbian and queer activists tackled a broad range of issues: sexual identity and sex itself, pop culture, race, class, violence, and many others. From early activists who advocated complete lesbian separatism to modern queer organizers who work in partnership with multiple identity groups, the "lesbian activist" movement has generated a huge variety of social formations and political ideologies. This exhibit, drawing from BCRW's extensive collection of LGBT-related materials, showcases just a few documents from this long history of struggle and social change. The following articles, photographs, zines, and pamphlets shed light on the many transformations and incarnations of lesbian activism over the past 40 years.

Dresses from the sky: WW2 wedding gowns made from silk and nylon parachutes
This wedding dress was made from a nylon parachute that saved Maj. Claude Hensinger during World War II.
In August 1944, Hensinger, a B-29 pilot, and his crew were returning from a bombing raid over Yowata, Japan, when their engine caught fire. The crew was forced to bail out. Suffering from only minor injuries, Hensinger used the parachute as a pillow and blanket as he waited to be rescued. He kept the parachute that had saved his life. He later proposed to his girlfriend Ruth in 1947, offering her the material for a gown.
Ruth wanted to create a dress similar to one in the movie Gone with the Wind. She hired a local seamstress, Hilda Buck, to make the bodice and veil. Ruth made the skirt herself; she pulled up the strings on the parachute so that the dress would be shorter in the front and have a train in the back. The couple married July 19, 1947. The dress was also worn by the their daughter and by their sons bride before being gifted to the Smithsonian.

Once the war was over, returning to a normal life was not an easy task, especially when one considers how devastating the war years were. Rationing was still in place in the years that followed the war, and people had to be careful to use their money wisely, because the cost of almost everything had risen.
Fabric was so expensive that a great number of women simply werent able to afford a decent wedding dress, and many of them had to improvise with materials. In many cases, their inventiveness went beyond expectations and such is the case with the beautiful wedding gowns made out of parachute silk.
