IMO, the Mueller distraction has already helped the Russians and the Republicans muddy the waters through inaction for what's to come in 2020. The partisan political season is heavily upon us. I hope we're paying close attention.

Has there ever been a President more worthy of impeachment? Isn't our country completely divided already? If trump were a Democrat would the Republicans impeach him? Are we giving trump a pass to engender Republican support for needed legislation? Doesn't most Dems feel trump is already impeachable? If Republicans embrace trump why not force them to go to the mat for him? Wouldn't an impeachment unify the Democratic Party?

It looks like very little is being done to save our democracy. Right-wing forces are hard at work to thwart and swing the 2020 election to their hand-picked stooges. Few appear to be duly concerned that this inability to have a clean election goes to the heart of our democracy. If elections aren't real, then the results aren't real and don't matter. And without legitimate election results we have no democracy. The Constitution becomes little more than a quaint piece of paper.

...it may be considered un-American by some, but I really don't care about football...I enjoyed playing sports as a kid, but today all I see in football are millionaires employed by billionaires playing a kid's game...and we, directly or indirectly, get to pay for it all...
...it's sort of the feeling I have about the lottery...I have yet to buy my first lottery ticket...if I was to participate, I couldn't escape the feeling of being played for a sucker...
...so, I think I may take a long car ride now that the cold spell has snapped, or maybe just go out to eat with Grandma, who like me, doesn't give a rat's ass about organized capitalist sports...
