PLEASE! Get rid of those goddamned bugs in your sig lines!

If you have ever been unfortunate enough to bring in a load of fruit flies on fresh corn, broccoli, onions or whatever from your local farmer's market, that graphic can cause a lot of undue fingerprints on your screen.

Really, the gif lost "clever" years ago.

It's getting dangerously close to 2016... From FB

It's getting dangerously close to 2016...

You still have your guns,
Obama hasn't risen as the AntiChrist,
You don't have Government implants,
There are no death panels,
Sharia law hasn't been implemented..
A birth certificated was proffered..
You weren't placed into FEMA camps
And gay marriage has not destroyed the country.

Maybe you were stupid as hell the whole time?

Has ISIS royally fucked itself?

Paris, the Russian airliner, Mali... And threatening Rome, the USA and just about anyone else with a modern army? WTF are they thinking? They're embarrassing Muslims all over the world who aren't into their particular far fringe and have alienated any ally they could ever hope to have...

I really see no sanity at all in their actions. They're like the Tea Party on steroids.

With Carson unraveling and Trump being Trump it has to beg to wonder

is the Republican party made of the insane?

I can't approach the locker because of lack of posts so here goes.

Topic was locked after a day and many recs and shares while it really wasn't about guns but did not share them in a good light. One might think that the locker had a motive other than keeping GD on the straight and narrow.

A "feel good story to interrupt? Terminally Ill Man Sees 'Star Wars The Force Awakens' a Month Early

The terminally ill "Star Wars" super-fan was concerned he wouldn't be alive to see "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" when it premieres in December. However, Disney set up a private screening of the film on Wednesday at his Texas home, according to his family.

"Daniel just finished watching an unedited version of 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'!!!" his wife Ashley Fleetwood wrote on Facebook Thursday afternoon. "We would like to thank the awesomely talented [director] JJ Abrams for calling us yesterday to tell us Daniel was getting his wish granted!"
According to his GoFundMe page, Fleetwood was diagnosed with spindle cell sarcoma two years ago. On Sept. 1, after the cancer grew more aggressive, his doctor gave him one to two months to live.

A fan of "Star Wars" since he was a child, Fleetwood, who is currently in hospice treatment, pleaded for an early screening of the franchise's latest installment. A social media campaign, #forcefordaniel, went viral in a matter of days.

"I want to thank ALL the amazing people who helped make this happen, thank you beyond words!!!" Ashley Fleetwood wrote on her Facebook page. "May the force be with you all #forcefordaniel!!!!"

Christian preg. centers freak after California turns tables and forces them to disclose abortion law

Christian pregnancy centers freak out after California turns tables and forces them to disclose abortion rights

For years, conservatives have been placing roadblocks to make it harder for women to get an abortion, but the state of California has turned the tables, forcing Christian pregnancy crisis centers to notify women of their reproductive rights.

NPR reported this week that a number of so-called pregnancy crisis centers were suing the state over regulations in the Reproductive FACT Act, which would force them to post a notice that abortion is legal in the state.

According to the law, a sign in large 22-point type must be posted in the lobby reading:

California has public programs that provide immediate free or low-cost access to comprehensive family planning services (including all FDA-approved methods of contraception), prenatal care, and abortion for eligible women. To determine whether you qualify, contact the county social services office at [insert the telephone number].

NASA confirms that the ‘impossible’ EmDrive thruster really works, after new tests

Read more: http://www.digitaltrends.com/cool-tech/researchers-conduct-successful-new-tests-of-emdrive/#ixzz3qY7aJ0Xr

Engineer Roger Shawyer’s controversial EmDrive thruster jets back into relevancy this week, as a team of researchers at NASA’s Eagleworks Laboratories recently completed yet another round of testing on the seemingly impossible tech. Though no official peer-reviewed lab paper has been published yet, and NASA institutes strict press release restrictions on the Eagleworks lab these days, engineer Paul March took to the NASA Spaceflight forum to explain the group’s findings. In essence, by utilizing an improved experimental procedure, the team managed to mitigate some of the errors from prior tests — yet still found signals of unexplained thrust.

Isaac Newton should be sweating.

Flying in the face of traditional laws of physics, the EmDrive makes use of a magnetron and microwaves to create a propellant-less propulsion system. By pushing microwaves into a closed, truncated cone and back towards the small end of said cone, the drive creates the momentum and force necessary to propel a craft forward. Because the system is a reaction-less drive, it goes against humankind’s fundamental comprehension of physics, hence its controversial nature.

Rupert Murdoch Took Over at National Geographic Today, Immediately Laid Off Award Winning Staff

This is truly sad.

It's as bad as many of us feared. In spite of the "happy talk" of "oh, his son will be running it and he's different," "Rupert wouldn't destroy an asset like Nat Geo," etc., today the axe fell.

The memo went out, and November 3rd 2015 came to the National Geographic office. This was the day in which Rupert Murdoch’s 21st Century Fox took over National Geographic. The management of National Geographic sent out an email telling its staff, all of its staff, all to report to their headquarters, and wait by their phones. This pulled back every person who was in the field, every photographer, every reporter, even those on vacation had to show up on this fateful day.

As these phones rang, one by one National Geographic let go the award-winning staff, and the venerable institution was no more.

The name now belongs to Rupert Murdoch, and he has plans for it. The CEO of National Geographic Society, Greg Knell, tried to claim back in September that “there won’t be an [editorial] turn in a direction that is different from the National Geographic heritage.” Murdoch’s move today only served to prove Knell’s words hollow, with hundreds of talented people now served their pink slips. And with the recognition that Murdoch’s other enterprises do not reflect the standards held by National Geographic, and with Murdoch’s history of changing the editorial direction of purchased properties, today’s move indicates that we can expect a similar shift for National Geographic.
