True Dough's JournalWhat age of men/women are you most attracted to?
I just bumped into this online article about a study that shows men, throughout their lifetimes, remain most attracted to women in their early 20s.
Women, however, by the time they reach 50, generally start to see men in their 40s as most attractive.

I don't think it's much of a revelation. Pretty much what most suspected, but I'm curious about the DU's reaction. Is this evidence that men are simply succumbing to their biological urges to find a nubile female to impregnate to spread their genetics, or more that older men are sorta/kinda "pervs?"
Are older women seeking someone who's more of a match intellectually and emotionally in their 40s, or someone who's more financially established?

Red Sox fans chime in, in 3... 2... 1...
"In baseball and sports in general, it's just natural for a team that had a season like the Red Sox had to regress a little bit. You play a lot more games when you make it to the World Series and we've seen it in the past where teams start slowly (the next season)," SuperBook oddsmaker Randy Blum told ESPN, also sharing some concerns over Boston's bullpen.
The Yankees and Houston Astros are World Series co-favorites at 6-1 odds, while the Red Sox and Dodgers have 7-1 odds.
The SuperBook betting menu offers several options, including the popular season win totals. The Yankees and Astros own the highest marks at 96.5. Boston is 94.5 and Los Angeles is 93.5.

Manny Machado lands with the Padres on a 10-year, $300-million deal
Now we need to see where Bryce Harper lands, and when.
Machado, a four-time All-Star and two-time Gold Glove Award winner at third base, made $16 million between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Baltimore Orioles last season.
The deal with the Padres includes an opt-out after the fifth season, sources told Passan.
The 26-year-old slugger posted a career-high .905 OPS in 2018, finishing the season with a .297/.367/.538 slash line, 37 home runs, 107 RBIs and 14 stolen bases. In 66 regular-season games with the Dodgers, Machado hit .273 with 13 homers and 42 RBIs.
