In this Information Age, did it occur to MAGATS

that not a shred of electronic evidence has been presented. Contrast that to the amount of electronic evidence that has surfaced for the actual attempted coup.

I just heard the Matt Gaetz/Roger Stone pardon recording.
So you mean to tell me, Democrats pulled this off without leaving a trace of electronic evidence anywhere? No text messages? No emails?
This grand conspiracy across multiple states, none of the people talked about it?

How were were democrats communicating to coordinate the “steal”
By pigeon? Telepathy?

Some guidance issued for Georgians to claim embryos on their taxes

The Georgia Department of Revenue on Monday released guidance for parents who are expecting children to claim an embryo on their taxes.

In a press release, Revenue Department officials said anyone who is expecting a child as of July 20 through the end of the year can claim in their 2022 filing a $3,000 tax deduction per embryo or fetus on the “other adjustments” line of the state’s tax documents. The department said it may ask for proof of the pregnancy

Similar to any other deduction claimed on an income tax return, relevant medical records or other supporting documentation shall be provided to support the dependent deduction claimed if requested by the department,” the agency said in the press release.

The change was required after the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals allowed Georgia’s law limiting abortions to take effect last month. A section of the law allows parents to claim an embryo once a doctor can detect fetal cardiac activity, typically at about six weeks gestation and before many know they are pregnant.

Disgraced evangelist Ted Haggard faces new allegations of sex abuse & drug use

Evangelist Ted Haggard, who was ex-communicated from his own church in 2006 following allegations he regularly paid for a male escort and was a methamphetamine addict, is facing new claims of misconduct from members of the church he founded in that scandal’s aftermath, according to the Denver Gazette.

Haggard, who once counted 14,000 worshippers among his flock at the New Life Church in Colorado Springs and often railed against homosexuality and drug use from the pulpit, is accused by two young men of continuing his predatory behavior and meth use at Saint James Church, a congregation he started in 2010.

The individuals, one of whom was a minor when the alleged incidents took place in 2019, claim on tape that Haggard touched them inappropriately on several occasions at the church and during off-site activities.

Author of recent paper about SSRI mechanism is an Anti Vaxxer. She is perturbed that right wingers

instead of left wingers have taken her paper and ran with it.

Who Is the Psychiatrist Behind the Antidepressant Study Taking Over Right-Wing Media?
Joanna Moncrieff has spent two decades questioning the efficacy of SSRIs — and more recently, she’s gone after Covid-19 vaccine mandates

SNIP -------

Moncrieff cites pediatric vaccine mandates in the United States as an example of the “paternalism” of public health interventions, and frames mental health care interventions — as well as mental illness as a diagnostic category — as an effort on behalf of the state to exert mind control tactics over individuals who refuse to conform to societal standards, referring to psychiatry as “the arena in which the conflict between freedom and health comes most sharply into focus.”

More recently, she has used her platform to publicly question mandatory Covid vaccines for health care workers in the U.K.. Last year, she was one of the signatories of an open letter from health care professionals opposed to the mandates, which, while acknowledging that they can be helpful for some people, maintained “there is considerable uncertainty about the effectiveness of the Covid vaccines.” In the past, she has also compared Covid vaccine mandates to forced psychiatric care. “Forced treatment in psychiatry is rightly controversial and limited, but now we are forcing thousands to have Covid jab,” she tweeted last December.

On at least one occasion, she inaccurately connected severe Covid-19 symptoms to antidepressant or antipsychotic use (in fact, data from an observational study suggests that taking SSRIs may actually reduce a person’s risk of dying from Covid). When asked for further evidence to support this view, Moncrieff demurred, saying, “I have not been following this story recently, so can’t give you any more recent information on this.”

While Aftab may believe it is not an accident that the paper was embraced by the right, Moncrieff is somewhat perturbed by the segment of the U.S. media currently championing her research. “I am perplexed at why this story has been taken up by the right-wing media more than the left,” she says. She believes that treating mental illness with medication constitutes “inappropriately medicalising distress and thereby obscuring the effects of social injustice, poverty, inequality, racism, child abuse etc, [which] should be a major concern for the left.”
