Watched those clips of Amy McGrath vs Moscow Mitch.

She needs to hit him hard about taking Kentuckians for granted. He act as though he has to answer for nothing and just be there to be re-elected. She needs to make that point much harder. He just assumes he has to do nothing and answer for nothing because the KY voters will re-elect him that is why he doesn't care if the ACA is rescinded or if a stimulus package is passed. He cares only about is own power and getting the SCOTUS appointment while hundreds of KY citizens may be taking their last breaths from COVID19 and the family they leave behind suffer hardships because they can't work and Mitch and his fellow GOP smirk about it.

If Dems can prove with hard evidence that Amy lied during her hearings, can she be impeached

after being seated? isn't lying to Congress a crime? We all know she knew what Trump's positions about the SCOTUS were. I am sure there are dozens of people who discussed those positions with her...including Barr.

Rachel is telling us that Trump administration is playing Shirley Jackson's "Lottery"

and we all have drawn the "winning" ticket.

There are at least 20 very qualified conservative women and men cringing every time Amy

opens her mouth. They know she is a "lightweight" partisan hack masquerading as a serious candidate for SCOTUS. Hoping for a miracle. It's not impossible that after these hearings at least four GOP may vote against her confirmation.

Joe should just say about the packing the Court question: "It all depends on what the GOP does."

I would put the ball in their court (no pun intended) and say no more than that. He will be asked what does that mean and he should say it depends on what the GOP does. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it after the election.

Damn, Al Gore is one of the smartest pols or former pols out there His Internet influence

was right on and so is his position on the climate and renewable energy. We missed a lot not having him as President. I believe he and Jimmy Carter were so under rated when it comes to climate and the changes that we needed to make.

Top order of business when Joe is elected is to swear in an AG who will set the DOJ

on path to quick, aggressive response to the militias and other Trump supporters who engage in violence. Action against them must be swift and to the full extent of the law. No grand juries, just simple arrests, arraignments, trial and jail.

Looks like Nancy and Trump are closer on the stimulus than the GOP?

I think that might seal the fate of the GOP in the Senate if Trump insists that the stimulus be higher. All he needs is for someone to tell him that the bigger the stimulus the more votes he will get.

Sad about the hurricanes.

Just wondering what impact this and other hurricanes will have on the voting? These people will likely not even be back in their homes by Nov. 3. I haven't heard one word from he WH about their ordeal. Did I miss it?
