Jack the Greater's Journal"Hurricane Ian would not have hit Florida if I were still President" /satire
"The weak leadership of the Biden Administration, if you want to call it leadership, frankly, I don't, some people do, but I don't, but the weak leadership of the Biden Administration has invited devastation from Hurricane Ian, everyone says so. Hurricanes no longer respect our weak borders. It's a shame what this country has become, hurricanes enter our nation with impunity. But this is what you can expect from a Democrat administration, hurricane after hurricane after hurricane, some will be named Ian, some will be name Fiona, and someday, I hope, I don't know, but I hope someday one will be named Donald, because as we all know, Donald is great and historic name, and deserves to have a hurricane named after it, but not one that enters our once great nation and creates devastation, horrible horrible devastation the likes of which have never been seen before. And this is what you can expect under my administration, hurricanes NOT entering our nation. It's simple, they would be afraid to, they would know that if they tried to enter our nation they would be met with tremendous force, tremendous tremendous force which would completely stop them in their tracks and drop them down to tropical storms. They don't want that. They want to remain powerful devastating hurricanes, not tropical storms, which are not as powerful and devastating. So they would just not come here, not under my administration. And do you know what else would not come here? People who are not American, American like us, like you and me, people who are different from us, people who eat different food, and listen to different music, music that is not Elton John and the Village People. I could go on and on, but I think you know what I mean. No more hurricanes and no people who are different from us!
How much jail time will Doug Jensen face?
"The felony charges carry a total statutory maximum of 53 years in prison and potential financial penalties. The misdemeanor offenses carry a combined statutory maximum of one year of incarceration and potential financial penalties," the U.S. Attorney's Office said.
Plenty of time to reflect on his behavior.
Just by thinking it...hmm, wasn't that how Professor Hill taught the band to play John Philip Souza?
... without any previous musical training?
The migrant flights originated from Kelly Field, a joint use airport...
...used for both military aviation and civil aviation. Because both civilian flights and military flights use this airport there is an assumption floating around that the flights originated at a military airbase. This article from the Joint Base San Antonio website explains the dual nature of this airport better than I can.
New Hampshire GOP Senate nominee abruptly backs off false 2020 election claims
If I didn't know any better, I would think he is trying to get elected.
____________________________________________________
New Hampshire Senate candidate Don Bolduc won the Republican nomination on Tuesday after months campaigning on false claims that the 2020 election was stolen from former President Donald Trump. A little more than a day later, he attempted an about-face.
Asked Thursday on Fox News about the 2020 race, Bolduc, a retired Army brigadier general who faces Democratic Sen. Maggie Hassan in November, said hes done a lot of research on this and, after speaking with New Hampshire voters, was changing his position.
Ive come to the conclusion, and I want to be definitive on this: The election was not stolen, Bolduc said, adding that while he still believes there was fraud, Elections have consequences and, unfortunately, President Biden is the legitimate president of this country.

Tuesday was another bad day for Senate Republicans' 2022 chances
Don Bolduc, who put election denialism at the center of his campaign, defeated establishment favorite Chuck Morse in New Hampshires GOP Senate primary, the latest in a series of blows to Republicans hopes of winning back the majority in the chamber this fall.
Bolduc now joins the likes of Herschel Walker in Georgia, J.D. Vance in Ohio, Mehmet Oz in Pennsylvania and Blake Masters in Arizona as Republican candidates who ran and won primaries by aligning themselves with the coalition built by former President Donald Trump but who appear to have much work to do when it comes to courting a general election audience.

Looks like it might be over for Truth Social
"They are unanimous in their hate for me, and I WELCOME their hatred!"
I would venture to say that this is as close to that moment as any of us have ever been.
