B.See's JournalCondoleezza Rice tells Republicans they need to get on the right side of Ukraine - REALLY?
Rice reportedly said on "Face the Nation" that whoever runs for president has to understand "the essence of the conflict" - that defense of Ukraine is not just about that, but about defending a "rules based system" that says might doesn't make right. "You can't just extinguish your neighbor" she said.
Problem being, perhaps Rice is too close to her party to be able to see that THEY, through their own actions here in America, have in fact shown they believe exactly the OPPOSITE. The party that has been using their legislative and judicial might to establish minority rule, to enforce THEIR will upon the populace, and to extinguish the neighbors THEY consider as "other."
Maybe she doesn't understand that the reason WHY Republicans can't "get on the right side of Ukraine" is because they are too aligned with the same retrogressive narrow-minded ideologies and nationalistic authoritarian mentalities that make Putin (and people like him) their idols.
