I'm thinking of backing Bloomberg.

First I want to hear him answer one question. Is he willing to share his returns with America, unlike IPOTUS. If he answers yes that should just about blow IPOTUS away with the wind.

Any Thoughts

About Disney's Hamilton Movie due for release in 2021?

Saw Two Golden Turkey's Yesterday.

"Skidoo" 1968 and "Won Ton Ton the Dog That Saved Hollywood." 1976. 'Skidoo" was just strange. An alleged comedy about mobs, prison and LSD with Jackie Gleason, Carol Channing and Groucho Marx in his last movie. The less said about Won Ton Ton the better.

Was Rod Serling A Time Traveler Trying To Warn Us About Today?

This reminds me of a typical MAGA rally and notice the hand signal Peter Sellers flashes after the shooting. No wonder this was suppressed for almost 50 years.

Judy.

I saw it last night and was underwhelmed. RZ is good in the title role but that's all there is. She will probably be nominated but I expect someone else to take home the gold.

"Stalingrad" 1993

A brutal antiwar film. War is hell and this is 2 hrs and 15 mins. of hell. Something about the lead actor bothered me. I noticed him from other movies but couldn't place him. When I did place him it changed my mood about the film. Even a doomed screaming soldier who had been sliced in half reminded me of Monty Python. The star was the same actor who played FEGELEIN, FEGELEIN, FEGELEIN! in the Hitler reacts series of clips on youtube. ( "Downfall" 2004 )

Did Anyone See This Yet?

Can You Ever Forgive Me? Dark humored but with brilliant performances. Melissa McCarthy and Richard E Grant should be award contenders. Loved it.

A Hard Days Night

It came to mind because someone started a thread about how different people reacted to a movie. Went to see it when it was first released with some neighborhood kids. 3 boys about 9 and 10 years old with 3 sisters about 12 to 13 years old. What I remember most was how the 3 girls sat there impassively when they flashed close ups of The Beatles while everybody else in the theater, boys and girls, went into a fit. The screaming was constant, you could only hear a word or two but they were silent. So that's what I remember about the Beatles first movie. Hope I didn't waste too much of your time.

Of Mice And Men : Spoiler Alert

Just watched the 1939 classic again last night. I've seen the remakes. Remember reading it about 40 years ago. So what do you think happened to George after The End? Did they lynch him before the trial? Did he go to prison and maybe serve on a chain gang? Was he pronounced guilty and executed? Did he do life or did the law take mercy on him with a lighter sentence? Did George do the right thing by Lenny? Just asking.

I Have This SICK Feeling

that Americans are already forgetting about the mass murdered gun victims in Parkland Florida. There wasn't much about it this weekend and the kids are kind of quiet. We have to keep being loud and in their face. The toxic NRA must crumble like a year old cup cake and be tossed into the trash heap of history. Don't stop till the only thing left of the NRA is their cold dead hands.
