Aristus
Aristus's JournalI'm staying up late and getting blitzed. Anybody want to hang out?
I'm sipping on some authentic Polish vodka. I can't read the label, so I can't tell if it's distilled from grain, like a proper vodka, or from potatoes, like the cheap stuff...
How's everybody doing tonight?
Hoisting a dram or two with Will Shakespeare. Ask us anything.
It's Happy Hour! Woo-Hoo!
I'm listening to my "Pachelbel Canon in D" playlist on my iPod.
15 different renditions, including a two mashups: one of the Canon and 'Earth Angel', and the Canon and 'One Tin Soldier'.
Great stuff. Very soothing...
Fans of "The West Wing" and "The Newsroom":
What would you think of an Aaron Sorkin network series, set in the TWW world (where Bartlet and his successor are both former Presidents) and set at the United Nations?
The title would be "Nations", and would include occasional cameos by figures such as Josh Lyman and Toby Ziegler.
I miss "The West Wing", and want more of that sort of programming, with Aaron Sorkin's matchless writing.
I like "The Newsroom" for itself, but I really want something more along the lines of TWW.
What do you think?
How's everyone doing tonight?
I'm just checking in. Like to talk to someone.
I'm enjoying a nice, cold Midas Touch Ancient Ale...
I watched "Warm Bodies" this weekend. I loved it so much, I watched it again.
Great movie. Hilarious, witty, charming. Unabashedly optimistic.
I love movies where the characters assert: "We can make things better!" And they do.

"The devil himself could not pronounce a
title more hateful to mine ear."
Macbeth, Act V, Scene 7, Lines 9-10.
Anybody still up?
I'm nicely buzzed, and will be going to bed soon. But I'd like to say 'hi' to my Lounge peeps...
