Conservative writer P.J. O'Rourke endorses Hillary over Trump

Still, there are some conservatives who are not knuckling under to the New Normal of Trumpism Triumphant. One of my favorite resisters is the beloved conservative humorist P. J. O’Rourke, who says –wait for it – he’s voting for Hillary. And his explanation is interesting:

I am endorsing Hillary. The second worst thing that could happen to this country. But she’s way behind in second place, you know? She’s wrong about absolutely everything — but she’s wrong within normal parameters! . . . I mean, this man just can’t be president of the US. I mean, they got this button, it’s in a briefcase, he’s gonna find it.

Now, remember: P. J. O’Rourke is so right-wing that he once made fun of FDR as being on the wheelchair ramp to the Gates of Hell. That right-wing enough for ya? This is no “RINO GOPe cuck squish” we’re talking about here.

I hold myself up to the judgment of this group regarding this accusation

http://www.democraticunderground.com/12511677501#post20

I hated the idea of "No Snitching" and I still do. I think its a terrible idea. But I submit myself to the judgment of this group.

Do you think I am racist for having that opinion?

Three more Pinocchios for #Bernocchio Hillary didnt call him unqualified

The Pinocchio Test

Sanders is putting words in Clinton’s mouth. She never said “quote unquote” that he was not qualified to be president. In fact, she diplomatically went out of her way to avoid saying that, without at the same time saying he was qualified. The Washington Post article appropriately noted that she raised questions about his qualifications, but certainly never said or suggested she said Sanders was unqualified.

Sanders would have been on safer ground if he had said Clinton is raising questions about his qualifications and now he would like to raise questions about her qualifications. But he can’t slam her for words she did not say.

I just realized that March 5 was the 1st anniversary of Rowdyboy's passing.

I just wanted to post that I still can't believe he is gone and he was one of my favorite DUers.

A note about participation in this group. PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING

Tx4Obama hasn't been posting on DU for a while so this group hasn't been managed. As a result there have been several OPs continuing the primary discussions here that better belong in GD-P.

This group is for supporting the Democratic Party, the DNC, state and local Democratic Parties and organizations and all Democrats. If your post is negative about the Democratic Party, a Democrat or supports one over another, it doesn't belong in this group.

Thanks.
