I am very confused by the 51% to 38%..

Bernie currently has 112,000, Hillary has 79,000 (I'm rounding the numbers) which makes a total of 191,000. But according to The Guardian, 219,000 votes have been counted. Who got the other 28,000 votes?

Any ideas?

Guccifer: Tells how he hacked, saw evidence of up to 10 other hackers from other parts of the world

MotherJones is now reporting on a FoxNews interview with Guccifer:

Wearing a green jumpsuit, Lazar was relaxed and polite in the monitored secure visitor center, separated by thick security glass. In describing the process, Lazar said he did extensive research on the web and then guessed Blumenthal’s security question. Once inside Blumenthal's account, Lazar said he saw dozens of messages from the Clinton email address.

Asked if he was curious about the address, Lazar merely smiled. Asked if he used the same security question approach to access the Clinton emails, he said no — then described how he allegedly got inside.

“For example, when Sidney Blumenthal got an email, I checked the email pattern from Hillary Clinton, from Colin Powell from anyone else to find out the originating IP. … When they send a letter, the email header is the originating IP usually,” Lazar explained.

He said, “then I scanned with an IP scanner." Lazar emphasized that he used readily available web programs to see if the server was “alive” and which ports were open. Lazar identified programs like netscan, Netmap, Wireshark and Angry IP, though it was not possible to confirm independently which, if any, he used.

In the process of mining data from the Blumenthal account, Lazar said he came across evidence that others were on the Clinton server. "As far as I remember, yes, there were … up to 10, like, IPs from other parts of the world,” he said.

I hope everyone realizes that this is only the beginning. Trump will make this an issue and it will be in the news non-stop now. Reality TV at it's finest. First the server, then the pay-to-play and the FBI investigation. Accusations will fly that Obama's Justice Department is blocking the indictment, and democrats will be on the defensive. This cannot end well. The republicans will threaten to start impeachment proceedings if she is nominated. The public will be reminded of all the Clinton scandals and become disenchanted.

Whether any of it is true or not is almost irrelevant. It will be relentless.

She needs to get out of the race NOW.

The Guccifer story is now exploding. He we go!! (WITH NEW EDIT)

The Guccifer story is now exploding.

Here is a link to NBC.

http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/hacker-guccifer-i-got-inside-hillary-clinton-s-server-n568206

Guess we get a teaser tonight and it airs on Sunday.

ON EDIT: How in the world does anyone read EXCITEMENT in this post? I have been warning about this for weeks. I am not excited. It's just more of an I-told-ya-so. The reality based side of DU has been warning about this.

On another subject, does anyone else think the timing is odd? The day after Trump gets the nomination. I mean, NBC interviewed Guccifer in Romania; so that means they had this info and SAT ON IT until now. Why? Why would they do that? Aaarrrrgggh!!

Bernie has been too nice to Hillary. We may pay the price for that.

I understand that he has wanted to run an issues-only campaign; he is an ethical man. He has chosen to rise above it all, and I love him for that. I applauded him when he said the American people were sick and tired of her damn emails! I have respected his silence regarding the FBI investigation. He never once called her out on all of her lies and distortions, and there have been plenty of them over the years - Bosnia sniper fire, Chelsea at Ground Zero when the planes hit, named after the Mt Everest guy...the list just goes on and on.

Sadly, I am beginning to realize the price we will pay for Bernie's ethics.

Personally, I think the FBI will probably recommend that Clinton be indicted (along with quite a few of her aides), but I am afraid it will be after the convention. There are so many ways that she has allegedly broken the law, wow! If the Justice Dept follows through, and she is charged after the convention, the democrats will be screwed. If the Justice Dept refuses to indict the democratic front runner, then the FBI will release all the damaging info and she will get tried in the public domain. It will be a bloodbath.

On top of that, Anonymous has done a data dump (I refuse to link to it) that I am certain is being devoured as we speak by republican operatives. There's a lot of right wing bullshit in it, but there's also a tremendous amount of jaw-dropping stuff. Everything is substantiated with a link to a news site. Donald's going to have a field day with it all.

We're screwed. Thanks DNC for throwing all your weight behind a candidate with so much baggage. OMG.

If only Bernie had fought dirty, but I really don't mean that. It's just not who he is, and that's why I love him so much.

DOJ claims revealing FBI declaration will "interfere with enforcement proceedings.”

Is there anyone versed in law who could expand on this?

DOJ Claims Revealing FBI Declaration Will Jeopardize Clinton Email Investigation
by Rachel Stockman | 7:35 pm, April 27th, 2016

Attorneys with the U.S. Department of Justice say they cannot make public a classified FBI declaration because it would “adversely affect the ongoing investigation” into Hillary Clinton‘s private email server. The recent filing by DOJ attorneys, obtained by LawNewz.com, is significant because it not only acknowledges the ongoing federal probe, but also asserts that if the declaration is made public, it could “reasonably be expected to interfere with enforcement proceedings.”

The DOJ’s memorandum is part of a FOIA lawsuit that was originally filed in federal court by Vice News reporter Jason Leopold. Leopold is seeking Clinton’s emails that the DOJ obtained from her private server. He is also seeking correspondence between the FBI and Clinton referencing the Clinton email server.

In March, the government filed a motion for summary judgement in the case, and incorporated this classified declaration as one of the supporting documents. Leopold’s attorneys argued that the declaration should be made public, or the DOJ should show cause for why it must be kept secret. On Tuesday, DOJ attorneys filed an memorandum in opposition to plaintiff’s motion to show cause.

The DOJ says in its filing:

Records responsive to Plaintiff’s request that are subject to FOIA relate to a pending investigation. The FBI has stated publicly that it received and is working on a referral (from) Inspectors General in connection with former Secretary of State Clinton’s use of a private email server. The FBI therefore submitted a classified in camera, ex parte declaration to provide the Court with additional details to demonstrate that responsive information was properly withheld, and explained on the public record that this was the purpose of the in camera declaration...

FBI Question

There are some pretty intense rumblings on the internet that the FBI is close to recommending an indictment against Hillary Clinton for various crimes including obstruction of justice (for the deletion of the 30,000 emails). Apparently, the case also includes charges related to the donations that were funneled to the Clinton Foundation during her tenure at State as well as having classified emails on her home server.

I have found it very odd that the MSM has remained so silent on this topic. Dozens of FBI agents have been working on this for over a year. They have extradited a hacker from Romania (Guccifer) who has confessed to spending 7 hours a day for weeks reading her emails, including those that were classified. Her IT guy has been granted FBI immunity, which according to legal scholars, is only done when the FBI needs the person's testimony to help build a case.

The FBI announced 2-3 weeks ago that they were interviewing Hillary Clinton and 5 of her aides. Such a request is usually time-limited within 5 days. She hired David Kendall (from Lewinsky days) to represent her. That means that HRC and her aides have most likely spoken to the FBI, but there has been no mention of it in the press.

Why is this? No one can presume this is all for naught. There are serious issues behind this investigation and huge resources being spent on it. Can you imagine the turmoil to our party and to the election if she is indicted? Or, if the Justice Dept (AG Lynch has ties to Clinton) refuses to follow the FBI's rcommendation and indict, can you imagine what would happen? Sources say Comey will resign and the FBI will release it's findings. Such a move would not be illegal because if the Justice Dept refuses to indict then they have determined that no laws were broken. If the FBI dumps it's findings, they will be picked apart by the Republicans and the press.

Bernie refused to make this a campaign issue. Why? Does he know what is happening ? Is that why he is staying in the race to the end?

So my question is, and I do not hope this occurs, what if HRC is indicted?

(Please do not reply if you are going to post BS such as "Benghazi!!!" This has nothing to do with that.)

ON EDIT: Within a few minutes I have received a number of non-informative snarky posts but nothing of any substance. Please, is there a Hillary supporter who can help me understand how a person (and a party) just ignores an FBI investigation. I mean, I have looked at the possible charges, and I have to say, they look pretty damning!!

ANOTHER EDIT: Since so many posters are focusing on the first sentence where I said "the FBI is close to an indictment against Hillary Clinton" by insisting that the FBI does not indict (obviously ignoring the rest of the OP where I clarify the DoJ's role), I have added the word "recommending" to the sentence. Now, can we please focus on the real point of the OP?
