Car drives into immigration protesters outside GOP lawmaker's office

A car drove into a group of immigration protesters outside of Rep. Ed Royce's (R-Calif.) office 30 miles southeast of Los Angeles on Thursday.

The alleged driver, Daniel Wenzek, 56, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, according to The Los Angeles Times. He was booked and released pending further investigation.

The car moved forward as protesters put their hands on the vehicle before it sped up, causing one protester to land on the car's hood. Police stopped the car shortly thereafter.

Royce's spokesman Steven Smith told the Times that the congressman was on a flight to California from Washington at the time of the incident.

CNNs Don Lemon Files Police Report After Getting Threats for Telling Trump to Please Stop

Don Lemon filed a police report in New York against a Twitter user who allegedly hurled racist slurs and threatened to harm the CNN anchor after he made an impassioned plea to Donald Trump, PEOPLE confirms.

Lemon, 51, filed an aggravated harassment report with the New York Police Department on Wednesday after the social media user allegedly sent hateful messages to his private inbox on the app, an NYPD spokesman tells PEOPLE.

“It was harassment and they also made a threat. The person said, ‘I will find you real soon.’ And called [Lemon] a f—— n-word,” the spokesman says. “It’s being investigated at this time.”

The spokesman says the alleged harassment occurred on Tuesday. TMZ first reported the news, citing police sources who said the Twitter user told Lemon “can’t wait to stab your neck.”

MILO YIANNOPOULOS EX-INTERN AND VOCAL TRUMP SUPPORTER KILLS DAD FOR CALLING HIM A NAZI

A Washington State man who fatally stabbed his father after the older man called him a Nazi has now been revealed to be a former Milo Yiannopoulos intern, pro-Donald Trump reditter, YouTube rapper and conspiracy theorist who blogs as Seattle4Truth.

Lane Davis, 33, was unemployed and living with his parents Catherine and Charles Davis on Samish Island, according to a deep dive by The Daily Beast, which follows the twisted, bizarre case from Davis's early internet obsession with the right wing until July 14 when an outburst about “pedophiles who were taking over the country” ended with his dad bleeding out in the backyard.

"This island is in mourning," Angie Mashaw, the victim's sister-in-law and alleged killer's aunt, told the Skagit Valley Herald. "Our family loved (Charles) dearly. He was the brother I never had."

Davis's parents said they were used to his tirades, which were not only personal to them, but stretched across the internet. He worked for Milo Yiannopoulos before he was fired, and according to a statement by Yiannopoulos to The Daily Beast, threatened him and went to BuzzFeed with "false and inaccurate accusations."

His pro-Trump raps include versus like: "Finger on the trigger. Trump might use a nuke, boy," and "F* that globalism, motherf* a TPP Open border b**ches, better learn your enemies."

Trump's America: Frederica Wilson not in Washington due to threats: report

Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-Fla.) reportedly did not return to Washington this week due to threats she's received since her comments about President Trump's call to the widow of a fallen soldier.

“She’s home,” Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-Fla.) told the Miami Herald.

“I have not spoken with her about it, but I’ve heard that she’s received substantial death threats and I think she is doing everything she can to ratchet down and let some of us, including me, take over.”

The last time Wilson voted was on Oct. 12.

A source told the newspaper that "nothing else would keep her from voting," adding that there are investigations into the threats she has faced.

Wilson last week said she overheard Trump's conversation with the widow of a fallen U.S. soldier. She claimed Trump told the widow of Sgt. La David Johnson that her husband knew what he signed up for.

Scott Brown admits investigation into inappropriate comments

U.S. Ambassador to New Zealand and Samoa Scott Brown admitted on Wednesday that he is under investigation by the State Department for making inappropriate comments during a Peace Corp event in Samoa earlier this year.

"Through rumor and innuendo, Gail and I have heard there's an inquiry about my conduct while I was in Samoa," Brown told New Zealand media, alongside his wife.

Brown said he is under investigation for comments made at a reception, where he told attendees that they looked "beautiful" and that they should work for the hospitality industry.

"When we walked into the Peace Corp event we walked in and there was a receiving line and prior to walking they were all, like, dirty and grungy," Brown said.
