About Me

I've been a member of DU since the very beginning....after that horrible fiasco - the sElection of 2000. My first user name was Lindsey, then I changed it to Nirvana555, and now it's Upthevibe. I had devices crash and I ended up having to change my user name. I've never been one to make a whole lot of original posts, but I consider myself a very active member in that I come to DU almost every day and read the wonderfully informative threads. I can't imagine what life would have been like over the past two decades without DU!

Can any California DU'ers tell me a good place site to checkout regarding the upcoming

Election? There are many propositions and, of course, the T.V. ads make it even more confusing. Thanks for any feedback!

Computer stuff - Help! Does anyone know someone who helps people at home with computer

situations? I need help setting up a very simple printer. For someone who knows what they're doing it wouldn't be a bid deal. I live in Redondo Beach, CA. The Geek Squad charges $200 (too much). I know I could google but I trust you guys at DU (my post count is so low because I've had two different names/email addresses. I've been with DU since the very, very beginning). Thanks to anyone who can help!

If the Republican Nominee(I try not to say his name)were to get out of the race, what would happen?

Is there some kind of process in place? I'm hoping Lawrence covers it tonight. I think he has discussed it before. However, that was a couple of months ago. Now that we're one month away from the election, does that limit what the republicans could do? Thanks for any feedback.
