Krugman is right: Let's not call the Bondi scandal "pay for play"

"pay for play" sounds too cute. This is what it is:

Krugman: "Actually, it wasn't pay to play. It was what is technically called a "bribe""

Trump up by 2% in new CNN poll

The mainstream media is on the verge of handing us another disaster a la George W. Bush as the currupt, dangerous and dumb Donald Trump leads Hillary by 2% in a new CNN poll.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/09/06/_politics-zone-injection/trump-vs-clinton-presidential-polls-election-2016/index.html

The Press should not attempt to wash its hands once our economy collapses and Muslim anger toward the hateful Trump results in increase, bigger and bolder terrorist attacks against America.

Update: I just read in the WaPo-poll thread that a new NBC/SurveyMonkey poll contradicts CNN. Hillary up 6% so I feel better now:

Huge poll coming out at 7am (WaPo polled all 50 states)

Finally a prestigious non-tracking, non-sucky pollster will release a poll, and boy is it a big one.
All 50 states have been poll, and it will not be one of those useless Reuters-type, of 150-respondent surveys that we've seen lately, according to the Washington Post's senior editor:

Clinton rejects Mexico invitation after Trump's diplomatic ruckus .

Source: Reuters

(Reuters) - U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said on Monday she will not accept an invitation from Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto for a visit after rival Donald Trump created what she called a "diplomatic incident" in his foray there.

In a written excerpt from an interview with ABC News that will air Tuesday morning, Clinton simply said "no" when asked if she would travel to Mexico before the election on Nov. 8, without elaborating further.

Her campaign later confirmed her decision.

"We understand and respect her decision to propose the time to hold a meeting," said Mexican Foreign Minister Claudia Ruiz Massieu in a tweet, adding that contact with Clinton's campaign was ongoing.

Good. Pena Nieto asked Trump to stage a photo-op the day of his immigration speech. And Pena Nieto had a 23% approval. Nothing to gain.

NYT journalist (who wrote piece about young blacks not liking Hillary) is a Republican

At some point the NYT decided to hire Jonathan Martin, who has written two anti-Hillary hit-jobs in a row: One pretending that Hillary caters to the 1% alone, and one pretending that young blacks dislike Hillary Clinton. This is a piece of bio that the New York Times doesn't disclose anywhere in its site (about Martin):

I told you Emerson is junk (Clinton ahead in NC by 4% in YouGov/CBS)

I recently noted that Emerson is a crappy outlier-producing machine.
Today a respectable pollster has Clinton ahead in NC by 4%. Emerson found Trump ahead here by 2%

Do not forget to dismiss Emerson every time it releases a poll anywhere. Thanks.

EXCLUSIVE: Donald Trump made millions from Saudi Arabia, but trashes Hillary Clinton for Saudi donat

Source: NY Daily News

Donald Trump has blasted Hillary Clinton for accepting money from Saudi Arabia through her foundation, but a Daily News investigation reveals he has padded his bank account with cash from the same country.

Trump sold the 45th floor of Trump World Tower to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for $4.5 million in June 2001, according to a city Finance Department spokeswoman. In 2008, the apartments became part of the Saudi Mission to the United Nations, records show.

The five apartments included 10 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms at the time of the sale, and had yearly common charges of $85,585 for building amenities, documents obtained by The News show. If those common charges remain the same, Trump was paid at least $5.7 million by the Saudi government since 2001.

Michael Barbaro (NYT) has declared war on Hillary

Michael Barbaro is a journalist who became embarrassed after being called out regarding his fawning pro-Trump coverage in the NYT.

It appears that his embarrassment has led him to double down on Hillary, and he now retweets hit-piece after hit-piece written about Hillary Clinton. His Twitter account is @mikiebarb if you wish to have a nice, polite chat with him.

Poll: Clinton has double digit lead over Trump in New Hampshire

Source: Politico

A new poll out of New Hampshire has Hillary Clinton taking an 11-percentage point lead over Donald Trump in the battleground state.

The WMUR Granite State Poll, conducted by the University of New Hampshire, has Clinton leading the Republican nominee 43 percent to 32 percent.

Libertarian Party nominee Gary Johnson pulls in 12 percent, and Green Party nominee Jill Stein has 4 percent.

The previous Granite State Poll, conducted in July before the two party conventions, had the two major party nominees tied at 37 percent.

This poll was in the field before the fiery speech on immigration Trump delivered in Phoenix on Wednesday.
