Just picture the scenario:
Trump had the option of attending his civil trials, he must appear every day for a criminal trial.
Picture Trump sitting in the courtroom for 6-7 hours a day, muzzled, for 2 to 3 months.
Where will Trump stay in DC? He can't show up late for trial like he did once for his civil trial.
Trump can try but will not succeed in controlling the narrative coming out every day from the courtroom.
Trump scripts his actions, pre-plans them for his advantage. Just like he paid people to pretend to be unionized auto workers who held up UAW signs. Trump is a phony, a con man. he is the guy who rides into town in a wagon to sell people snake oil.
Trump can't script, can't control what goes on at his trial and it won't take long for that situation to physically and mentally devastate him.
The cherry on top is a conviction,
Trump knows he has no evidence to prove he is not guilty, that is why he cannot go to trial pre-election, that is all he is fighting for, Delay.
Time Matters.
The Appeals Court Understood That Time Matters
What a fantastic decision, I was hoping they gave Trump 2 weeks to appeal to the Supreme Court, they gave him 1 week.
If Trump tries en banc the stay is removed.
This was always going to come down to the Supreme Court. It takes 4 justices to take the appeal. Would Trump nominees Barrett and Kavanaugh vote no? Even if they take the appeal would Roberts be OK with dragging out the decision?
Nevertheless, this was the best possible outcome for Jack Smith/
The Big News Is The Feb, 12th Date For Trump To Appeal
Yes Yes Yes, What mattered the most was how this court treated the stay, and it only gave Trump a short period of time to appeal.
With this ruling the J6 trial is going to happen pre-election.
Yeah, as an aside, presidents can't murder people.

My Take On Thursday's Supreme Court Deliberations
The court will not rule on the issues that people think they will rule on.
They won't decide whether Trump engaged in an insurrection or decide if he was an officer of the court.
I predict the court will sidestep the main issues and declared something like the 91 year old lady who filed the complaint doesn't have standing, or some other lame excuse.
We shall see, tune in Thursday.

May of 2021 the National Archives informs DOJ of missing classified documents, DOJ tells the Archives to investigate.
8 months later, January 22, 2022 the Archives informs DOJ it cannot handle the investigation, Trump is not complying.
March 2022 the FBI opens an investigation into the stolen classified documents.
Last week we find out that the FBI did a piss poor job searching Mar-el-Loco, failing to investigate a locked closet.
Biden:
Nov. 2, 2022 Biden lawyers inform the National Archives they found classified documents at a Biden office. They turn them over.
Nov. 4, 2022 the National Archives notifies DOJ
Nov. 9, 2022, the FBI opens an investigation, subsequently, 25 to 30 classified documents are found at Biden properties which are turned over.
Jan. 12, 2023 Merrick Garland appoints Trump nominee, Robert Hur, as special counsel to investigate President Biden.
Hur's report was due out last year, rumor has it that it is coming soon, Hur will get his Comey moment in the spotlight.
Meanwhile, Trump has his handpicked judge making sure that no more bad information comes to light until after the election, if then.
Merrick Garland treated Donald Trump with kid gloves while he wasted no time to investigate President Biden. I will bet my house that Donald Trump never returned all of the classified documents that he stole to this day, but within a matter of days the MSM is going to go ape shit over Robert Hur's report. Another Comey moment?
Time Matters. DOJ was slow to take over the investigation from the Archives for Trump, DOJ waited 5 days before it investigated Biden.
