Yes, she is double vaxed and double boosted.
She lives in a senior apartment complex. and on Saturday she saw some people wearing mask and rumors of someone having Covid. She doesn't expect management to come out and say Jim Smith 2D has covid but she thought management would say we believe there is a case of covid in the complex please consider wearing masks in common areas. (Red area of PA so you know how that can be).
She called me because one of her friends in the complex tested positive and she took a test. She thought she had done the test wrong and said there was 2 lines. I told her that meant, she was positive. She was in the middle a second test when she called. She asked me to call my sister (covid-is-a-hoax-nut) asking her if she hard a mask she needs to wear it.
Sis and niece coming in from Maryland/Delaware area. Niece put me on speaker and My sis response to mask wearing "Well, that's not going to happen" with you are so stupid tone.
She is midway into PA. UPDATE: Sister is turning around to go home 4:35 pm

We need hard hitting journalism about the 2016 RNC Hack.
DNC hack got all the attention and the RNC hack got the news back burner.
We journalist to really start investigating that hack. The more you see levelheaded GOPers leaving the party and not running for reelection. We see "Party leaders" like McConnell, Graham and others not standing up to their party insanity. and to be honest if you look at McConnell and Graham in recent interviews their eyes remind me of movie kidnap victims ready a ransom notes on a video.
That Hack has allowed these insane extremists to gain control of the GOP. I know others have said this, but we really need people to hold this to the fire of public view. Russia had something to do with this. Russia more than likely gave Trump info who forced out those who wouldn't play ball and we are going to lose our democracy if the 4- estate doesn't stop the B.S. and stop both sides do it.

It is known Trump has never been found of Tiffany and ever since DA James announcement yesterday I can't help wondering if Tiffany was grateful not to be in Trump's inner circle.
Here is a scary thought. A friend of mine in Neighboring Ohio
indicated her election board found something interesting--People are volunteering to work the polls. Which normally is a good thing but after 2020 her area like many others found people no longer volunteering and had been threaten and scared away. What she is noticing is the people volunteering are people she is aware to be conspiracy theorists & believe the big lie. The scary part is how many will try to Provent people from voting. How many have gotten into higher levels of positions. We saw how Election boards in various counties aren't certifying the primaries.

Covid update. We are finally testing covid negative.
I kept testing positive and had the cough and exhaustion head clarity issues. Husband had the Anti virials. Tested negative Friday 9th and Tuesday Morning asked to take a Test he felt like crap again. Tested positive. Rebound case. He said he felt worse than the first round.
We basically treated the symptoms cough medicine anti congestions. Tested Negative Yesterday (Saturday). BUT we are so exhausted, and we still have the coughs. We aren't doing much of anything and just napping.
Questions on the immigrants Desantis and Abbott kidnapped
I use the term because that is what the Governors did.
Those immigrants came seeking asylum and have to follow certain rules and enter certain points. How will their kidnapping and them being in Mass affect their asylum cases?
Will the DOJ actually punish the Governors actions? This was a coordinated effort between the 2 Governors? Could these actions fall under RICO laws?
You Have What It Takes
Maybe it was fate or just chance but I was feeling low today. My husband with a rebound case of Covid has been off work since Tuesday. I haven't stop testing positive for covid (but it seems with my first 2 rounds it takes 3 weeks for me to get over covid) But we are sick and have been stuck in the house basically a week and 2 weeks. So, when I found this notice in my in -box and listened I was in tears. And felt so comforted by this song. I wanted to share.
Friend of mine met the Queen-Elizabeth 2
My friend told me the other day she had met the Queen in a roundabout way when she was 12.
she was in Scotland by the Balmoral Castle. Her Stepfather has family there with lands and she was 12 feeling awkward and out of place. So, she rode her bike a lot. she found herself on a road a little lost. She must have looked lost a woman driving a Truck-like car (that was how it looked to her 12-year-old American mind) stopped and asked if she was okay. My friend explained she was lost. The woman assured her she wasn't far from the place she was staying and gave her directions.
The woman asked if she was visiting and then asked if she was enjoying her trip. My friend shrugged saying it's pretty but wished there was more to do. The woman laughed and gave a laughed. She told my friend to hurry that the sun will set faster than she is used to my friend thanked her and stared at her a minute longer and told the woman she looked familiar. She asked the woman if she was in movies. The woman laughed and shook her head. She started to drive away telling my friend she hopes she enjoys her visit.

I know Most here may not like royalty, but I never mind it and found Her Majesty a good role model. I am sorry she has passed.
covid update 2 Husband's work - covid positive no a big deal just don't show symptoms-come to work.
First off I want to thank people for well wishes and responding to my post. I do apologize if I haven't response to everyone. Just get tired to respond. but thank you for letting me vent and well wishes and care.
So Hubby is still testing positive and his workplace to him. We don't care you are testing positive as long as you are not showing symptoms, we want you to mask up and get in here. Husband is going in tomorrow because well... we need the money. We are lucky he got it over the Labor Day holiday and really, he only missed 1 day of work- Friday.
It isn't the first I heard of this practice either. My sister-in-law in Nevada indicated workplaces are telling employees that late last year.
This is part of the reason why we still have covid this strong in the country.
on another note. how soon do I have to wait-once covid free to get second booster. I honestly believe my 3 rounds of covid is due to Omicron and the subvariants.
