Far from my first choice, Joe now must be my Great American Hero.

It’s obvious that he will be our nominee.
He is not nearly as liberal as me.
I would have preferred someone younger and a better public speaker.

But, too bad. He will be my guy now.
I vow to accentuate his positives like his empathy, compassion, and warmth.
He simply must beat Trump.
There can be no voting for third party candidates.
There can be no staying home.
Biden MUST beat Trump.
The world will be watching and hoping and praying along with us.

Don’t let us down Joe.
Our future is in your hands.
You must become our Greatest American 🦸?♂️ Hero!

Could states go to vote by mail for November election?

I’m not sure about any legal hurdles or time constraints, but with the Coronavirus meaning people may more and more shy away from public gatherings, maybe vote by mail makes sense.

Will be interesting to see if any states that don’t currently vote by mail will try to go that route for the November general election.

Question for our friends in Washington state.

How much is the Coronavirus expected to suppress turnout on Tuesday?
Be safe (and stay healthy) guys in the great northwest.

Seriously, why hasn't Tulsi dropped out?

I know she finished second in American SamoA...but....

My switch to Biden and some advice for his staff.

Sadly my candidate is now out.
But I’m still very proud of Warren and think she was classy until the end.

As for my choice between Biden and Bernie.
I voted for Bernie in the 2016 primary and Hillary in the general.
I consider myself to be a far left progressive.
But a pragmatic one.

I’m pretty much aligned with Bernie on policy.
But I don’t like his stagecraft.
He yells and waves his arms too much when a calmer demeanor would be better suited.
He is uncompromising and doesn’t have many legislative accomplishments.
Biden voted for the Iraq war and has made other mistakes.
But he led on gay marriage and women’s issues.
His heart is in the right place and his personality is warm and likable.

So I’m now on the Joe train.
But, please Biden staff, keep him ON SCRIPT AND ON TELEPROMPTER.
He doesn’t need to get caught up rambling and switching subjects midstream when off script.
He should have short rallies where others also speak endorsing him and introducing him.
Only do one on one media interviews with “friendly” media. Not the gotcha types.
Smile more. He has a great smile.
Use Jill more. People love her.
Be the happy warrior. Let Bernie and Trump be the angry ones.
Be lovable Uncle Joe.
If so, you’ve got this.
Go Joe!

Biden will live and die with the South.

Maybe I’m Being Captain 👩?✈️ Obvious, but it’s pretty clear that Biden must be the South’s favored candidate to have any chance at the nomination.
Super Tuesday features 5 southeastern and 2 southwestern states. I think he has to win at least four of them to become Sanders primary opponent. He needs strong second place above 15% finishes in the others.

So carefully watch: Virg, NC, TN, ALA, ARK, OK, TX.

Who drops out after SCarolina and BEFORE Super Tuesday?

I say that Gabbard and Klobuchar drop out Saturday night or Sunday.

After Super Tuesday, Buttigieg and Steyer will drop out on Wednesday.

What say you?

Could Warren end up as the compromise candidate?

Is there any chance that after Super Tuesday that there are only three viable candidates remaining: Sanders, Biden & Warren.
If so, could Warren hit the sweet spot between them as a bridge to the progressive and moderate wings? Or is she considered too progressive to lure enough moderates?

I’ve heard from some progressives that they like Bernie’s policies a little more but that they like Warrens personality more and think she could get more things done in Congress especially since she favors encouraging a Dem Senate to dump the filibuster.
